single tier dividend...meaning we will get this 6 cents nett? still need to declare this 6 cents as income in the income tax declaration rite?

if your personal tax bracket is less than 25% corporate tax rate, then i assume you will get back something...

Guys, just a word which i would like to share on dividend with 25% tax on your share.

you will definitely get your 25% tax if you income does not falls into the table on tax rate where LHDN has.

thou you may get tax off RM 25 out of RM 100, but imagine that you are giving RM 25 out blindly.

Truely, what htt says after reading, i don't really think it's right guideline.

Please remember to declare your dividend whenever it's been tax.

Single tier- no need to declare to IRB - good for high income earners ..bad for low income earners.

Look at the dividend voucher....says "The single tier dividend is not taxable in the hands of the shareholders pursuant to para 12B of Schedule 6 of the said Act"

You can;t regross it yourself and just taruh the figures on your tax return and hope for a refund. In any case,if you do that they'll ask for your dividend vouchers ..and voila ...there are no figures on the income tax part of the voucher. Possible penalties may apply too if you try to do this.
