Less than a month you will received a call from EPF, either you collect the check or direct bank in into your account.

after sign the s&p, need to fill in the form first la..
epf won't automatically deliver the money to u..
tongue.gif

normally, epf will request you to photostat your bank passbook.. the page that contain your name and the account details.
they will debit the money into your account.
if no problem, the money will be debitted within 2 weeks.

if more than 1 month, u better call epf.

I also know ..epf take 2 weeks ...

But my question is ... when can i apply epf ? at what stage ?

Once i signed S&P can apply oredi or not ?? or have to wait for the developer to issue any letter ...then only can apply ??? i scared this will take long time ??

Since the D/P i also borrowing from someone ... i need to settle with them asap ...

I still thinking will there be any twist in the tale later on ?

Becoz lately i become very sway liao ...

I scared later when want to withdraw epf ..suddenly got new rules ...that deny me to withdraw money and settle back in my life ....

I was almost planning a run road before i receive this call from the bank ....

The loan approval ..give me a new hope to begin a new life ..if all goes well for me ....

In regards to your last sentence on loan approval giving you new hope....sweat.gif
Are you for real?!

1st, you haven't seen the property and you bought it.
2nd you have debts with Ah Long and haven't settle yet you plunge your head straight into another hole.

So how wrong can you be in your choices in life?!

My salary is enough to manage my life ...

But becoz of the Ah Long debt ...i had a tough life ... and somemore destroying my life in frustration.

So if i can settle the Ah Long debt once i get the epf money ....

Then i can live a normal live without debt... coz my salary is enough for me to cope .

Bottom line ... i need a capital to go back to my normal life ...

I might rent the new buy house ... so i will able to live more happier ..

Once you get the original SNP document from the lawyer, and you can go to PJ KWSP to get your EPF money.

while you get there, you go to the info counter, tell them you want to withdraw money to pay DP for your home. they will give you a form and direct you what to do.

But before that, you need to print out your latest 3 month bank statement ( I went to bank to print out rclxub.gif ), photostat IC, bring along your original SNP document to KWSP.

I just withdrawn $$ from EPF, here is what needed:
1. bank book (with a photo copy of the first page) OR any recent bank statement (just one statement needed). Better use bank book as if you use bank statement you need the bank to verify true copy for you despite that's the computer printed original copy. They need that for the purpose of verifying you are the holder of the account.
2. Your stamped S&P and a copy of it
3. Your loan approval letter and a copy of it
4. Your IC & a copy of it

That should be all of it. It took about a week to bank into my account. You can apply once your S&P stamped and loan signed.

Remember to check with the EPF officer how much you can withdraw. There is a formula to calculate it depending on loan amount and property price.

Good luck in your life and take care. smile.gif

Note: for joint purchaser who both also want to withdraw $$, you need double copy of the above. Each of the joint applicant need to present their respective bank account.

Hmm.. I think you miss something, or I could be wrong.

For a leasehold property, we need a CONSENT LETTER from developer (if the property
is still under master title) or consent from Pejabat Tanah (if the property has strata title).
I think this will be the cause of delay and headache...

For freehold, s&p and other documents mentioned above is enough..

Boss, as far as i know, EPF wont issue u cheque anymore. They will tend to direct debit it to your bank a/c. Do prepare the necessary documents as posted by Interrupt.

Since its a 100%, i believe u can withdraw the money once EPF has debited it into your a/c. EPF will only process after u sign the S&P, and the process varies. They will process faster if u provide all the necessary documents.

I hope u do think of the consequences if thing doesnt work out the ways u wish it to be. There is unpredictable and unexpected matters happening everyday.

When EPF banks the money into your account, means you can use the money to be use for other purpose also ?
