we can and we do. Problem is, when I tried putting in my savegame from my SG account (my phat ps3) to load from my MY account (my slim ps3) so far most games I tried refused to work. Seems like most savegames are locked to their PSN account that was created with.
Tested games so far : God of War collection (locked) GTA IV (locked) GRiD (unlocked) Littlebigplanet (locked of course!) Worse still, some games refused to be copied to thumbdrives outright. (SFIV, CODIV).They live and die with your ps3. tough luck. If you wanna sell your savegames, people will either look on the net first usually or you just simply cannot use them. That in turn makes the chip go even hotter and making it crash. If you check the video on how to repair YLOD it basically shows you how to reflow back the contacts of the chip to the heatsink.
