Any of you guys kena RLOD (not YLOD) before? Know of any fix?

red light blinking is it?.... its overheating...

No it's not overheating problem. My PS3 can still turn on and play and stuff. Just that It takes a lot of tries jsut to turn it on.

Here is exactly what happens, I press the power, the light goes green for a second (I can hear the fan and HDD) then turns yellow and beeps twice then flashes red (no more sound). Try it again and the same thing happens. After trying for a few times (sometimes 10+ times) then it turns on properly and works well as long as I don't turn it off.

its ylod alrite... same thing happened to my ps3.... i've sent to bernard for fix...(few guys like ruztynail, tim, and others can do ylod repair)

ylod fix is meant for temporary solution - for back up hdd and deactivation of psn accounts...

what's ur model ps3?

It's a 40GB fitted with 320GB. I thought YLOD you can't turn on your PS3 at all?

well... its like that first few tries.... mine works for a couple of weeks... then at one nite, it just shutdown straightaway and can't switch on the unit...

Damn.. After fixing your PS3 tahan how long already? Or did you get a new PS3 after that.

Bernard fixed mine after 2nd ylod... he said 5hr gaming/day.... also can't play latest titles like uncharted 2 (will make my ps3 go overdrive then ylod)

i don't know how long my current ps3 can last...

i'm getting the new ps3 probably next month

its advisable that we should deactivate all of our psn accounts immediately once ylod struck...

once get the new ps3 then reactivate back the psn accounts.... (for dlc and psn contents sake)

i think ada sorg budak LYN yg fix YLOD.. hmm sapa dia aku x hingat.... so fr ok la.. Insecure buat kat dia la.. sampai skrg ok.. .. nanti aku tanya dia sapa budak tuh.. and 40gig memang byk kena YLOD..

Memang so far 40gig 1st batch..problem la.. .. nasib la..

1st batch.. aku nyer 1st batch ke?? tak kot..aku tak beli masa launch...

mostly yg HD 40g.... memang problem.. ..
