Turned on my PS3 just now and accidentally noticed a new TV menu in the XMB. My main PSN acc is a UK one so it showed BBC iPlayer. Selecting it launches the browser to BBC's website. Have yet to try anything coz it's taking forever to load.

Any of you guys kena RLOD (not YLOD) before? Know of any fix?

No it's not overheating problem. My PS3 can still turn on and play and stuff. Just that It takes a lot of tries jsut to turn it on.

Here is exactly what happens, I press the power, the light goes green for a second (I can hear the fan and HDD) then turns yellow and beeps twice then flashes red (no more sound). Try it again and the same thing happens. After trying for a few times (sometimes 10+ times) then it turns on properly and works well as long as I don't turn it off.

It's a 40GB fitted with 320GB. I thought YLOD you can't turn on your PS3 at all?

Damn.. After fixing your PS3 tahan how long already? Or did you get a new PS3 after that.
