to get near that region, u need higher clock speed + tigher timing for the ram.

command rate set to 1T, 2T is not recommended esp. fsb is low.

the rest like tcl, trcd, trp and tras depend much on capability of ya ram.

2.2GHz is nothing for SuperPi .... u need to get at least 2.5ghz to get 40s and below. with high fsb, 1:1 divider and tight timing ram will give better scores.

Yeah..so thats why not bragging too much about it.
Will change the motherboard later when I have better budget..

But the thing is, even you've got 2.2GHz with a Barton i think the 1M should not be more over than that. Guess the cache screwed it up

oh... now i realized... it's another cacat Barton with 128KB L2 .... last time there was a few 64KB L2s

In normal usage, it's very snappy..the feeling is like 'a whole lot faster' Celeron. (Old Celeron 2GHZ-2.8GHZ 16KB L1 and 128KB L2 ma)
Maybe it's the 1GB RAM doing it's job.

yes, so I am waiting for a replacement for a real 512K cache..I've already informed my seller liao..
In the mean time..I just happily play Age of Empire 3 to test the performance.

So considered myself (un)lucky lor. Hopefully after get replacement, can at least do slightly better in Super PI.
