My parent just bought their Samsung LCD 40 inc 555 series.

Previously i have done a configuration for them on this HTPC . but i though of change the GPU since it majority
use for internet browsing , youtube, online movie (pplive) , watching DVD or ever BD movie ,

I want to use the LCD HDMI port , so the GPU must come with HDMI as well...

Can anyone recommend a LCD TV favor of ATI card for me ? I plan to use silverstone SG-01 casing but i think it can put standard size of GPU on it.

my 1.5 years gigabyte 8800gt turboforce finally yielded to the dreaded faulty qimonda memory however much i downclock the memory.  So I  just bought a xfx 4850 xxx 512mb as its replacement.  yes, not much, too late.  But i just looking for a budget and better replacement, and its great.  Got it for RM380 at thundermatch.

i love this xfx's cooler, it runs cooler than my 8800gt on AC Accelero S1 rev2 idling at 45 while 8800+AC at 55.  After more than 3 years of leaving ATI, since 9500 came out, has to readjust again.

Currently trying to figure out which temp is which in rivatuner by comparing it to CCC readings.

guys need to ask this, how much u underclock core,memory, voltage for 2d idle for cards that dont have built in PowerPlay?  my xfx 4850 XXX dont have separate clocks for 2d, it is always max core all the time.

guys, i got my card back from RMA - its a Powercolor 4850. Apparently they didn't change the card and the  shop told me the supplier fixed the card already.

f***, after installing everything I tried all the games which showed me the atimkdiag error and also produced artifacts, grid was problematic as always, crysis still artifacts like hell.

I believe that either the shop or the supplier is playing tricks on me. I called up the shop, and they ask me to bring the card back to them for testing, I am sick of this man, any idea on what can i do next ?

can i know what's the temps u guys are getting own 4870 ? i own a HIS big fan version but am considering whether should get a VGA cooler or not
