QUOTE(nobody#2 @ Mar 9 2011, 08:02 PM) need help, today get this status, its your throttle body either dirty or faulty..go to nearest perodua SC to check it out..-can start engine, can drive, but problem is when release the Fuel Pedal the engine will stop, like no fuel to mantain the RPM, every time brake then need to start the engine again and the light of the symbol is steady on, what is it mean, since i dont have time to manage to send the car for repair, is there any self-maintenance on this issue.. (my car is manual, not auto).. thanks for any info.. [attachmentid=2085054] |

QUOTE(eddmecha @ Mar 10 2011, 09:18 AM) well maybe after u send it and found out the real problem u can share here so that when it happens to other forumer outside still have a guideline:) send to perodua (near the Summit USJ) to check.. - found out is the wiring problem - paid RM17.50 to check what is the problem (got one workshop told me is fuel pump issue - RM130 for repair) - perodua - advice to change the wiring - cost RM334.50 + RM40.00 for labour charge.. additional info - Viva front side mirror cover - RM30.30 + RM20(painting) - Door handle (to open the door) - RM40 + RM20(painting) - (i ask the non-perodua service center b4, RM85 without painting) - Power Window Failure (switch) - RM30 for repair.. actually i don't really like to go back to official service center, i think is higher price compare to the non-official workshop, but one you can confirm is the parts they provided is 100% genuine.. my own experienced, the non-official workshop will recommend to use something cheaper but no warranty or guarantee on the items (they always say good but when problem arise, a lot of story and you have to spend again) but in fact some time just slightly price different from the genuine spare part.. official workshop - have the price list, can check before process.. note : i'm not saying that the non-official work shop not good, just i didn't meet one.. QUOTE(earl-ku @ Mar 11 2011, 12:52 PM) haha, i also asked.. they give me the answer is- wiring after 3 years NO warranty. - Viva front side mirror cover - RM30.30 + RM20(painting) - this of course no warranty - Door handle (to open the door) - RM40 + RM20(painting) - (i ask the non-perodua service center b4, RM85 without painting) after 3 years - NO (just want to know, anybody have this problem too, i already claimed 5 sets for the from the first 6 months until now, this is the No. 6th spoilt. - Power Window Failure (switch) - RM30 for repair.. - can claim but found my record of service not complete (skipped) .. haha, so for those who really want to claim the warranty/guarantee please follow the schedule of the service provided by perodua.. QUOTE(loselegend @ Mar 13 2011, 03:08 PM) Ur Viva bumper, i suggest u go ask how much for a new one including paint first.. Cos the damage repair and paint might at least come up to RM150-rm200 in PJ area.. A new bumper with paint shd be going for less than RM350.. Maybe can bring down to RM280-300 with good nego skills.. Ur damage bumper the brackets might be broken ady.. So u need to fork out for the dent repair, possible sanding and plastering, repaint, and also bracket fixing.. |
