hi guys... my viva got problem dy.... these few days when i stop behind other cars in traffic, i can smell their car's exhaust on my aircon.... very weirrd.... do i need to add a air con filter?

it only indicate blue and red signal only o...

air filter is a must bro.... RM 7x one from perodua....
about smell from outside... i think is normal because i smell durian smell from outside as well... must be the hole under the deskboard... need remove deskboard to seal it well i think.. just small matter for me... cheap car sell expensive to malaysian... what to do.

i wonder how much would it cost to install power steering onto my viva 850. anyone can roughly advise what is the total damage (RM) for a new and 2nd hand power steering c/w installation? Advise is very much appreciated

That's why...our gov is making waterfish out of innocent people, who have no idea what they get into when they sign a ridiculous 9 years car loan.

Basically, if you can't afford to pay installment for 4 year loan max, don't buy the car. Wait until you have enough money to put in substantial downpayment.

Car loan is not like housing loan. With housing loan, the more money you dump into it, the less interest you have to pay. If you have enough money, you can just settle the loan without further interest (or some small penalty if you're within the first 3 to 5 years contract period). With car loan, it's fixed. You have to pay your principal loan + interest for the duration of the loan(ex: 9 years). Furtheremore car depreciates every year...but your interests still the same.

by the time you pay off your car loan, your car is worthless junk already. Basically you're stuck with it for the next 9 years...cannot sell unless you're willing to give away your car for FOC and pay another sum to the bank to settle the amount owed.

have u done ur 1k service? ... normall to accurately/precisely calculate ur car's FC .. u need to get pass ur 2nd service (which is the 5 service) ... before it ur engine is not running at its optimal level ... so have some patience, drive safely don speed so much till u pass ur 5k service ... give ur engine time to apply all the lubricants to its essential parts ...

vivi originally came with an air cond filter (mostly all new car does) ... having some outside smell is normal, but check see if u have closed ur air cond vents (there is a leaver that can close one [a sign that shows "an arrow around the car cabin"] ... maybe u have accidentally turn the other way then outside air will come in easily ...
no need worry la .. this one is normal ... haha ... thats not the problem, check ur air cond filters ... as far as i know, its located at the glove compartment, i think .. hahaha

Please dun wrongly guide ppl lo... air cond filter is not coming with da car....
installation place is behind the left tray.... mostly all malaysian car dun have it... even some import car also dun have it....

i installed one...so far so good...u shld install the air con filter too.

bout the second part, most new cars does not comes with such air con filter ... its not exactly an air con filter, its called a cabin air filter ...

Finally had the time to go install HID on my Viva ...

spending money just on replacing the original lightning is satisfying ...
