炎炎夏日，只要是一走出家裡的大門，就是準備接受太陽炙熱的洗禮，隨便逛個街喝點飲料吃個冰，加上各店家賣場的誘惑，荷包不免都會有點失血，很多精打細算的朋友常常就是輕輕鬆鬆在家看個影片打發周末假期。不論從甚麼方法得到如日劇、卡通、電影等影片，諸如RM、MPEG之類的各種影像格式都有，轉檔出來燒錄成光碟再拿去客廳播放實在是相當麻煩的一件事，所以一般也就是坐在電腦前面自己獨樂樂了，近來晶片廠商研發的腳步相當快速，將各種影片解碼功能整合在晶片上，甚至連目前最熱門的1080P高畫質影片也都難不倒這小小的影音多媒體播放機，如果打算把電腦裡的影片拿到客廳跟親朋好友一起眾樂樂，還真的很難找到比多媒體播放機更輕鬆簡單的方法，還記得筆者在近一年前為了解決高畫質影片解碼的問題，還花了不少錢組裝了一部HTPC放在客廳裡專門伺候這些多高畫質影片，現在只要花不到幾千塊就能做到相同的事情，不得不佩服這些硬體廠商的研發能力，開發出相當方便簡單大眾使用者簡便操作的產品，降低使用者的使用門檻。
在Computex期間華碩展出跨足多媒體影音播放機領域的產品O!Play多媒體播放機，吸引了不少參觀者的駐足圍觀，支援MPEG1/2/4、H.264、VC-1、RM、AVI、MOV、VOB、MKV、ASF、Xvid、WMV等影片格式，在音源輸出的部分則支援MP3、WAV、PCM、AAC、Dolby Digital、FLAC、AIFF、OGG多種檔案格式，字幕部分則是支援SRT, SUB, SMI, SSA，存放在電腦裡面的影片幾乎可說是大小通吃，連Full HD高畫質的影片都難不倒它，當時報價119歐元換算台幣約5500上下，價格不是非常的親民，在八月底O!Play正式上市的價格卻非常的具有衝擊性落在4000上下，無怪乎成為最近最熱門討論的多媒體播放機，也有著與目前在這領域熱門的兆赫藍光劇院一別苗頭的味道，說了這麼多，一起來看看ASUS O!Play HDP-R1吧!!

首先看看ASUS官方釋出O!Play HDP-R1的規格，影像規格支援的相當完整，音效部分除了幾個常見的如Mp3、WAV等格式，倒沒特別將支援的Dolby Digital列出，網友們有提到O!PLAY可支援DTS音效格式，這在後面會提到!!

O!Play的包裝盒採以黑色為基調，由於是全球販售的緣故，因此盒裝一向統一標準包材採以英文註明產品名稱及型號，這當然是難不倒有心找尋的朋友，但一般的使用者就比較不容易快速的了解O!Play可以為它帶來甚麼樣的娛樂感受

I have just called C-zone to ask. They haven't got the O!play yet, expected to come in within this week.
But selling price is already known, it will be RM699 (he'd checked in their POS system).
I hope that person was bluffing, finger cross, it will fall <RM400.
