Aisay, not like we will look at its backside more ma.....but it has E-SATA thumbup.gif
*
why? is that beneficial to watching 1080p movies?

the egreat has got sata and sata power to power a 3.5inch HDD without a power brick.. that's even more impressive.. thumbup.gif

while, asus has way more chances to get faster/better/more complete supports on the firmware, we all know that these media player can throw to sea if does not have a good firmware.
*
then all using realtek will be in the same boat.. biggrin.gif cos they all use same basic firmware capability.

If the price is going to be RM699, which is similar to the ACRyan, the choice thereafter is clear nod.gif
*
which is?

or get WDTV live? biggrin.gif maybe their pricing is more regulated? if WD sells for USD119 maybe locally, have to sell at RM500 or below?

Because the bottleneck is in the USB, if your PC support Esata then it'll be very fast
*
which is annoying cos quite alot of PC doesn't have hot plug sata/esata function.. so you need to reboot everytime you change or disconnect HDD..

FAQ

The SATA back panel didn’t have any chip or micro processor, It will require motherboard or SATA raid card to enable the hot swap and Raid features.
