i guess AC Ryan is the only choice if wanna includes RMVB

Diyomate S6T (realtek 1073) include all the function.. can support WMA-pro ,BDiso also.
I think mine are cheapest ..

future firmware update.. can't update the core software.. just minor fix.

Some "china" brand had good support team.

But can your Xtreamer playback BDISO? As for M6600 it's a matter of whether you are willing to pay the extra $$$!

Well, you are wrong! Himedia HD300 series have already got 2 updates in September & can also playback BDISO. Next firmware update will have youtube & other net functions.

Beta 2 firmware which is already out for Xtreamer can do BDISO lah. Anyways asus cannot. So what's your point?

My point is Chinese made player is not bad after all. In fact 99% of those realtek based players are also make in China. China is the "factory" to our world! So my point is China "boleh"!

Hardware is 1 part, another 1 is the software.. I believe Xtreamer, AC Ryan, WDTV all those non-china company stood behind their product. Most important they have forum which the end user can interact and push for feature needed.

Those china company dunno how long they will support their product.

Xtreamer, AC Ryan when start player business?

Those china brand in market 2+ yrs ago.

So how come now Xtreamer and ACR is more popular and well known compared to those china mali ones?

Well, do you consider Pocornhour as China or otherwised? If you look carefully since the DTS downmix firmware in June there's no update until now for the A110?
