if towards the evening a bit difficult i think la... maybe under bright sun it'll be easier as u dont really have to worry about underexposing ya shots... btw, what was ur shutter speed for that Perodua Kancil GTR?

honestly, im not to sure on how much depth of field there should be for panning shots... but i think because ur shutter speed was 1/40 ur kancil seemed to look as if it was moving fast!... i bet you had to move a lot to make sure the shot was sharp... so, maybe if under proper lighting conditions, you could use a higher f number to ensure the whole car is in focus, use highers shutter speeds so you do not have to move to much, and a lower ISO to keep noise at bay... result, i think shud be good...
