im so happy to see my 1680 is still in demand tongue.gif

once i was worried that if i gonna upgrade 2470 1 day..i'd hav hard time selling it..hehe
*
till today, i think that's an awesome lens smile.gif...i think its one of the best lens from sony...tried 2470 too but i stil prefer 1680 because 2470 is just too heavy for me;)....

overall its great lens and i really like it...it would be perfect with SSM! The range is just great from 16-80!

The Sigma 18-200 is better than Tamron. But in the case of 17-55 f2.8 then Tamron 1 is better.

do you mean tamron 1750?

Seng_Kiat: Go test a 17-70mm, then! It has its merits. If you're just going to follow what people buy just because everyone has one, I dunno what to say lah.

how to try la... must go shop n try i guess... not too keen with the sony one... yea, heard b4 that its really expensive... i like the distortion from the diagonal fisheye...

since i was a kid i always tried hard to imagine how if what we see from side to side appeared on a flat media... the fisheye lens gave me that answer... smile.gif
