How do you define something to be serious? Serious movies must have intelligent humour? Wait i watched V for Vendetta, Independence Day, Saving Private Ryan, not sure you called it serious movies but they do contain average laymen jokes. Can you provide me an intelligent joke then? cause i might have been ignorant if i had came across any?
Low quality audience deserve, low quality movie/humour? so you are dissing the people for not sharing your perspective? so if you enjoy Walls Cornetto, and i and the majority like Nestle Mat Kool and we dont share the same liking as you,we are not of par? Since when personal preference or liking translate into low quality or high quality audience?
Just watch TF1. The joke are way better. Compare it with over the top joke from his mum.

LOL at "serious movie". its a movie based on toys made by one of the biggest toy producer on Earth. THe main intention of toy store with such "established" toyline being made into a movie is to:
1) Attract kids and attack their dads pants/wallet to buy their toys
2) Retain fanbase so they wont ran amok and kill their executives for diverting 99% from real source. These fans also are potential cashcows.
This movie is the outcome of juggling 2 of the above. Hasbro won't give a damn about it NOT being oscar material. Can a golden award/statue of a half naked human = bring more sales especially from the kids?
That is why some of you see fans as being more "contented" than typical non-fans. But labelling them as low-class and stupid reflects upon the criticiser as someone who unable to debate in a proper manner.
Usage of word does not mean that I cannot debate in proper manner. Unfortunately, such movie deserve such criticism.

i'd like to add something to supplement you argument there,
We all know Transformers came from Japan, as a toyline first made by Takara then bought over by Hasbro, so the Japanese and Americans thought "Hmm how to sustain sales? increase popularity and make a presence in the market?"
Then they came out with the TV series,"kids watch it,get hooked, force parents to buy for them". This tactic of promoting a toy line by giving it a story line to hoodwink kids is not new, take a look at those Tamiya Cars, they had a series promoting it with a storyline same goes for Pokemon, digimon, they too had series to promote them.
The point is the storyline was never meant to be deep or intellectual its meant to be a promotional material since the very beginning, and so far it has worked for almost 20+ years, why did you think they created so many version of the same story? to create different type of toys to keep with the times of course, its been 20+ years, and look their toyline is still popular. but in the process they created disparities as each alteration had conflicting ideas, just like how the AllSpark appeared in BeastWars and not the other incarnations which made the Matrix of Leadership/Creation concept belittled.
But what made TF,stand out from the rest of the toyline-direct-tv series business model is that, people in Marvel,DW and IDW expanded its mythos and universe and included more substance then the likes of Digimon,Pokemon and other promotional toyline that has a tv series or comic supporting it. For the most part of its existence TF, became a cult icon on its own, people started following the storyline thanks to the efforts by the mentioned companies.

It doesn't meant to be intelligent. But at least, do not insult our intelligent.
