QUOTE(Gr3yL3gion @ Jul 14 2009, 12:21 PM) I don't get why Megatron didn't go and revive the Fallen in the first place. The Fallen was there all the time. He was not revived.QUOTE(Gr3yL3gion) And he waited until humans have weapons before trying to conquer them. The Fallen had no intention to conquer humans, his intention was to harvest Energon. Tiny humans never pose a threat to him thus humans are ignored. |

what they are pointing out is enjoying a so called 'low quality' movie doesnt make one valid as a low quality audience. Better keep the quote for your own preferences.

QUOTE(gogo2 @ Jul 14 2009, 04:15 PM) I just want to point out that it will cause the director keep on churning out low quality movie. The consequences are bad. You will become liable as Your quotation does not justify the cause for directors to continue producing low quality movies in future instead it pointed out that audiences that watch these 'low quality' movies are itself low quality viewers. You do note that some may not take the 'low quality audience' phrase easily right ?low quality audience. Regardless it is low or high quality audiences, both has infact contributed to the gross when they got the ticket from cinema. So enjoying the movie is to make the best out of the money paid. The reviews and ratings can make its way from media to producers after that. Take TF2 as example, i am sure Bay already knew that TF2 is really not up to par by now with all the reviews and being labeled as a bad movie in whole. As viewers we could just hope he can do better in TF3. The clear mesage has been conveyed to the producers and it is up to them to make the call from here. hey~~i thought all this has stopped already lol. |

Lol, TF3 should be out on 2012 ... to think of it Bay did the right thing by going on a short hiatus so that he can revitalize and think of fresh ideas to implement. TF2 was made as soon as TF1 finished not long... which is a huge mistake.

Ancient Transformers can read ancient Cybertronian language. Yes there are more ancient and disguised transformers. It is not known yet, since writers have yet to determine them.

Where does this suddenly come out from ? haha izzit this thread too quiet ?
QUOTE(gogo2 @ Jul 17 2009, 03:57 PM) 1)A lot of people accused me of going to see transformers 2 expecting to see an Oscar caliber movie. This is simply not true. I went in with my expectations as low as I could make them and was still disappointed. Different ppl different expectation. This means your personal expectation level for movies is higher.QUOTE(gogo2) 2)A lot of people said what do you expect from a movie based on a cartoon made to sell toys. This is simply a cop-out. They could have done ANY THING with the material. Many movies based on comic books (and dont underestimate the depth of comics) have at least been turned into an ENJOYABLE big dumb Hollywood action flick. I am willing to bet good money that someone like Brian Singer could have turned out something FAR better than the steaming heap of pony loaf turned out by Michael Bay. Lesson learned, never go for Bay movies in the future. It will further horrified your expectation. Either go without any expectation or try to avoid it.QUOTE(gogo2) 3)I am not unaware what this movie was meant to be like; I am say that is what it FAILED to be. Explosions, girls and robots do not make a movie half way decent ipso facto. Same as the first one, expectation level is different. And last not least, this is a bad movie as the first TF1 movie is far far more better. Added on July 17, 2009, 4:45 pm QUOTE(M4A1 @ Jul 17 2009, 03:19 PM) Btw it is StarScream, not StarCream lol.Hopefully Starscream will lead an important role in the plots for TF3. Added on July 17, 2009, 5:08 pm QUOTE(nimrod323 @ Jul 17 2009, 04:59 PM) i think they made the Transformers the reign of starscream, he was an integral part of it no wonder Megatron was mad lol, "even in death, everyone should answer to me!!" Cant blame the ever ambitious Starscream though. Megatron was absent for so long and revived for a brief moment in TF1 then was killed off again. Starscream was the one that kept Decepticons going while Megatron was under the sea. This post has been edited by xin: Jul 17 2009, 05:08 PM |

QUOTE(nimrod323 @ Jul 17 2009, 05:26 PM) yeap, he finds every reason to take over haha and the best part megatron knows this but the decepticons seem to have factions that do not approve of starscream's rule. I think soundwave and shockwave can do a better job of leading. But the good thing about Soundwave and Shockwave is that they are loyal to Megatron and would only do what deed being assigned while Starscream was one that can actually do his work well, but due to his ambitious nature he tends to do extra and always wants to overlap Megatron's order. |

QUOTE(nimrod323 @ Jul 21 2009, 12:59 PM) hmm i think a movie based on the Alliance/Defiance/Reign of Starscream should be made after TF3, a prequel would be nice though its gonna be very expensive since its all TFs with little or no human presence. I dont think it'll see the light of the day, studios are hard pressed for funding these days.... Yup, a prequel or maybe spinoffs are nice additions. I recon they would most probably get the project going if TF3 can gross better than TF2 or so. The prequel budget can be reduced by not rendering the complicated fps renders, the main renders should be enough. There is no need of complicated scenes like the Alice transforms into Pretender, cuz tat takes up a lot of rendering.Reign of Starscream should be interesting, it can makeup where TF1 left and how TF2 started. And also how other transformers came to be avail on earth. |

QUOTE(defaultname365 @ Jul 21 2009, 10:55 PM) Told ya not to open. lulzGuess sshahar9 was just hoping for more development and proper introductions to the newer transformers as well. Humans are equally important for the movie to run but it would be good to cut short the fillers and put in more details related on transformers, doesnt need much CGI though as some talking and gestures should be easily rendered by a few polygons. QUOTE(sshahar9 @ Jul 22 2009, 03:23 PM) a lil bit, im not that bothered by it but would certainly appreciate more robots next round. The transformers are more than enough, lets hope they dont plonk in too much in TF3 without a proper introduction to them. Just hope they come up a good development for Jolt, Sideswipe, Arcee and etc. They got so less screentime plus non elaboration which is too bad. Audience would just keep wondering..theyve made enough money to focus on the robos for next movie |

QUOTE(Brian O'Connor @ Jul 22 2009, 04:02 PM) Aiyoh.Ask Hasbro to change director lo if everybody hate Bay so much. We should make a petition around the world and let Paramount aware of it.Then new transformers 3 shall be directed by M.Night Shamayalan or David Yates. Bay is making profit for them le, they have no reason to change him. What producers and sponsors want is to profit from the movie lol.. |
