QUOTE(mrjgx @ Oct 28 2009, 12:07 AM) i hate my gen-2 fuel consumption! it drinks a lot of fuel even for a normal driving.... How bad? I have plan to use back my standard rims... btw..what muffler is good for cps auto? hotbits ok? my Gen2 manual's FC as worse as Auto car RM0.20/km... even on normal driving 80km-90km... QUOTE(jVIPERs2 @ Oct 28 2009, 12:17 AM) How bad is your FC? so envy your car can do 12.5KM/L... Mine can do 350KM on 28L of fuel in town driving (frm Puchong to PJ daily). Which is 12.5KM/L or 8L/100KM.. i wish to get that FC... QUOTE(R.Y.D.E.C.K @ Oct 28 2009, 10:01 AM) QUOTE(kcng @ Oct 28 2009, 05:39 PM) its the DBW characteristic... kcng, for a manual campro/campro CPS.. u can simulate "auto-style" in traffic jam.. just put 1st gear, release clutch the car will automatically move to the optimum speed for that particular gear... u just need to modulate the brakes accordingly if done right, u can simulate an auto car.. but of course to come to a complete stop, tekan clutch la.. if not mati engine thanks for your explanation. i was thinking how to 'solve' this problem... i'm not used to it when we press the clutch and the RPM jump up... sometimes jump quite high, nearly reach 2000rpm Added on October 29, 2009, 1:00 am QUOTE(kcng @ Oct 28 2009, 09:29 PM) take out the battery (+) and (-) connector... wait 1-2 hours and then reconnect it... if we un-plug the Memory fuse, wait 10mins only plug back, the ECU will reset to factory default and will then re-learn everything again... then see if the problem is still there... if it is still there... then try to get the SC to remap the ECU again... would that work? if no then maybe i will try your way during weekend liao... because other forum's people said unplug and replug the memory fuse it do the same job(reset ECU)... QUOTE(laytiong @ Oct 31 2009, 07:41 PM) Last Saturday fitted Hotbits 4-1 for Satria Neo CPS onto my car. Had to make a slight adjustment to the collector pipe as the engine block angle is different for Waja and SNeo. Pictures are on the link below: laytiong, http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2039...6&id=1349448855 Immediate feedback are: 1. Less boomy engine noise under acceleration. The engine feels quiter under full throttle. 2. Loving the metallic sound from the collector area where the 4 pipes merge. Sound appears under medium throttle opening between 2000 to 3000rpm. Can also hear the pistons backfire sound if rev above 3000rpm and let go of accelerator. Imagine a silenced straightflow exhaust. 3. Lower end torque from idle to 2500rpm is slightly less. Doesn't pull as strong. But once goes above 4000rpm the pull is better and easier to red line. The engine now really loves to rev now. 4. No other changes done to exhaust as using stock 2.0" piping and stock bullet and S-flow muffler to block the noise. Still idles like stock exhaust car until I rev it then the sound becomes quite garang. 5. Since now the engine breathes easier, engine braking also slightly less. The car rolls on further in gear. The engine also does not feel as jerky upon letting go of accelerator. My new dyno chart will only be out upon carrying out my 21k kms service in which a K&N drop-in will be included before the dyno is done again. Was told HP gains on wheel estimated around 6-9whp. Looking forward to the good news. borrow your picture ![]() On Waja CPS/Gen2 CPS will become like that as well? |

QUOTE(J'Daniel @ Nov 1 2009, 07:22 PM) Huhu just changed my gen2 rims ... Valves suppose included with the RIM or tires price... haizz plan to change to 17" , but was visiting a shop in shell jln 222 then kena poison till make sudden decision to change on spot lol. haha End up got a new 16" lenso replica rim + 205/45/16 tyre damage would be ; Sport rim : RM1100 Yokohama C drive : RM280X4 = RM1120 air valve : RM40 (steel cap) rim nut : RM100 Center cone ori size : RM70 (he say must put otherwize vibrate) 1 piece stabilizer @ rear : RM50 (must chg otherwize alighment & camber lari fast) Trade in stock gen2 cps rim+tyre(still new like 90% thread) Rm500 In total paid RM1980 Does it sound reasonable ? my RIM nuts are total package with RIM+Tires, but color fake out after few times install/uninstall I got myself the center cone @ RM60, yes, solved my steering vibration problem... but then, i still not very satisfy, sometimes the steering still slightly vibrate even though the car going straight ... Highlight in Red is what item oh? as i know Gen2 Rear camber no need change and can adjust one .. since i didn't see alignment/balancing price, i guess is included already right ? lastly, picture come ! |

QUOTE(pearjar @ Nov 1 2009, 07:13 PM) CAI DIY yourself? QUOTE(pearjar @ Nov 1 2009, 08:30 PM) Thermal Wrap so cheap? what is the length? QUOTE(sphiroth @ Nov 1 2009, 07:50 PM) As long as you like it, it well worth it. ah, forgot to mention, Its actually to keep the temperature constant inside the exhaust for better flow, and also helps to reduce heat. May cause crancked extractor due to overheat. Metal valve usually are not included, the free one is the rubber valve. My rims doesn't installed center cone as I don't feel it really necessary, but no problem with vibrating steering. the steel valves is depends on which tireshop you go, normally they will included rubber valves only. steel valve is a bonus lor if i'm not mistaken, Gen2 Wheel center bone is 67mm, while the Lenso RIM i bought, is 73mm, therefore i need center cone lor .. QUOTE(J'Daniel @ Nov 1 2009, 07:52 PM) @ahpaul Like what sphiroth said, It's the stabilizer strut bar .. just 1 piece lol He advise me to buy that otherwise camber and alignment will lari fast Yeap the alignment/balancing is included .. Seem like the shop is pricey a lil bit hmm .. I afraid replica rim no value when i wanna sell it later on TOo bad no chance to whack on 17" ler haha ... 17" is about RM1400 but not my taste the design. Will snap photo soon .. nowadays alwiz rainy, later go out As long as you like it and paid already, don't check prices after back home i guess this is the 'bar' you mention, ![]() This post has been edited by ahpaul82: Nov 1 2009, 08:43 PM |
