i think the reason he used Wood's work was because the size of the UMD,a full 3d cutscene would really eats up its space. 2 UMDS? na-ah. I'd rather he use Wood's work rather than sacrificing gameplay for the sake of full 3d cutscene.

the first MGS:PO trailer did show that Kojima use the combination of both In game cutscene & panel comic. lloks' great...but maybe too space consuming

But MGPO was released way before FFCC. so i think, the team should be able to utilize PSP's hardware properly now. PSP GO will not replace the current PSP, allof its games and media will be released online and in physical UMD,to quote Kaz Hirai in E3. PSP GO willdefinately smaller user base than PSP,so to make it exclusive to psp go islike shooting their own feet. anyways I dont think we will see any games exclusive on psp go.

Kojima Took Peace Walker Reins To Guide The ThemesQUOTE First, Hideo Kojima said that he wasn't doing anymore Metal Gear Solid after Metal Gear Solid 4. Then he said there would be more MGS, but that he would take a hands-off approach. He tried that with the upcoming MGS: Peace Walker, but it seems that didn't work out so well.
"At first, I was just going to create the overall guidelines and concepts for the project, and leave it in the hands my excellent staff. I was going to have a hand in the project as a producer, and make titles other than MGS," Kojima told Dengeki PlayStation (via GameCenterOnline).
"But, I set the game in the South American (sic) country of Costa Rica and created a story with themes about nuclear deterrence and the cold war. It looked as if it might be very confusing to young people, because of generational differences. So, in the end I finally said, "I'll do it."
In a recent issue of Famitsu, Kojima had described Peace Walker as, "The Metal Gear Solid 5 inside me," which also partly explains why he's focusing on the PlayStation Portable game. Metal Gear Solid: Rising was also originally supposed to be left to his staff, but Kojima will be taking a relatively strong hand there as well.
"It's a completely different kind of action than what has appeared in the series so far," he said. "I'll be working more deeply on the project then a normal producer."
After so many years, guess it's just hard to quit.

they are planning to do things in Peace walker that you cant do on a ps3/360. and there will be a TON of replayability in this title MGS PO is still cannon,so no need to discard that no real word yet on connectivity between rising and PW. the scar on Snake's chest in the trailer is a clue to something, apparently
