if you're not in a rush totoro, perhaps you may want to wait for a weekend sale. earlier this year around Feb we had a 50% discount sale for L4D1, so if it follows the same pattern then next year Feb you can get it then. of course you'll be lagging a bit compared to the others who have it now, but if you're not a super hardcore gamer its not that long a wait.

I tried playing as Infected. Charger's really good though, friendly for new players too.

thanks for reminding me. i totally forgot about 50% sale like last time. i'm not that hurry, just got borderlands.
by the way, those new weapons be it guns or melee weapons, they're nicer than l4d, especially the sound.

Just played it.. finally...

I gotta say.. imo it doesnt have that l4d feel (like eerie feeling)... especially since most of the time its daylight, so u can spot zombies or special-infected ones from far away.

As i used to scared of witch.. even tho now witch walking around emo-ing.. since i can see her cleary from far away, i just stand and keep shooting w/o panicking liaoz

Oh well, just a demo anyways.

In a good side, the gfx slightly enhanced especially the gore/gibs as u can see bones in the flesh etc.

And yes, machete its tasty.. lol

WTF!... yesterday, i click property to see thing...

then, i tangan gatal, set to russian language..

after click, it become 0.0%, then i quickly set it back English, it become 79%...

the most stupid thing i ever did

Yeah it's only a short demo taking place during day-time which makes it less intense. But if you've watch L4D2 videos for the past few month you will realise that there will be campaigns taking place at night, and some even have weather changes. There is one stage in particular where it was bright daylight and later it started to rain really hard which makes shorten your vision. Running along the flooded area slows you down and molotovs virtually useless during the rain.

All in all, this is just a demo and there are probably more stuff when the game is released. There is even a mode call realism where zombies can only die when their heads are removed and dead players stays dead.

I'm really excited about this game already~
