Crashing issue started.. don't know when. It just started out of a sudden when before that everything was OK. Don't remember installing new stuff / making changes to my PC.

Tried Max / Med / Low video settings, including shaders and everything like some sites suggested, to no avail.

Also messed with sound settings (speaker config) but did not try voice settings - never touched it before so they are at default.

It is far less frequent now with latest forceware drivers, but still happens and it annoys the crap out of my teammates.

Two types:
1) Freeze with sound loop at the start after I press enter at "Hosted by 3rd party server" screen.
2) CTD mid-game for no apparent reason.

Specs are in my sig... my apologies for the overreaction - didn't think game crashes would warrant accusations (however mild) that my game is pirated. But being an anti-piracy measure it was probably a little over-implemented...

The article in kotaku never mention any sort payment for PC version, so it's assume that it's might still be free though

So enough worlds colliding, when is "The Passing" coming out? Well... if it was coming out next week we would say right here - Left 4 Dead 2's The Passing is coming out next week and we will be updating the blog next week with more news on the release. There you go.

The Passing will be a purchasable DLC. Which means that you have to buy it (Yes, PC too). As of this moment, there is no mention of how much will it cost.

The info that we have are:
- 1 new campaign (3 maps)
- supports all game modes
- you will meet the L4D1 survivors
- 1 new infected (The Fallen)
- 1 new melee weapon (golf club)
- 1 new ranged weapon (m60)
- a new witch (witch bride)
- unique co-op mode (no further news on this)
