The possibilities are endless with Natal.... err... in a good way.

Let's hope its not going to cost mighty dollars. Motion sensor tech has never been this good... and its for the 360!

Hmm earliest date Fall 2010. Still a long way to go before the hardware and software matures.

after seeing the so call motion controller in Sony conference.

i can say that those developers are in very dangerous situation...imagine this..

before E3

Sony motion controller developer : "Omg, we've invented a new controller, very simple design, a stick with a ball on top and the ball will change color too!!!!!! Omg we are so genius....we will be on the first page of all game sites after we presented this!!!! WE OWN JOOO ALL!!!! " (follow by a evil laugh)

next day after MS conference...

Sony motion controller developer : "Can we present this stick in next year E3?, please......"

obviously, the so call motion controller is kinda lame to me, you need to have a stick and a ps eye in order to work? and you need two sticks for more intensive interaction, obviously this is way too troublesome. And i wonder if it vibrates or not rolleyes.gif whistling.gif

at least, NATAL showing us the capability for having no controller as controller and for me...it triumphs!

so, for me i can imagine to have all sort of simulation games with natal, SIM4 and DOAX3 ,anyone?brows.gif

Don't diss Sony just yet. What they're doing allows them to have a very accurate motion controller. And it's already been in use for years.

@MK,

agreed, but it is next gen you see, if we don't get new tech we wont go anywhere..

improvising the old tech is safe,but for me it is not surprising at all. why we need it when its already out there, that is where WII comes into the picture.
maybe WII can have some sort of Webcam thingy like..erm...WII-EYE....

someday, with Sony motion controller, we might need full suit (like motion capture suit with balls sticking around the suit) to play more intensive interaction games, i can't imagine if gnome wearing it and play COD-episode-you-name-it biggrin.gif
