I think the source of the problems if the LAW. Because Malaysia Laws don't allow any muslim to convert to other religions and once u r muslim, no matter u r chinese or indian, u cun change back.

Well, this is the matter of politics. Those politicans juz affraid tat sm day other races of Malaysian can be the PM, juz like the US. There quite a number of Malay politicans wish to convert Malaysia into a Muslim Country, which I think it is totally impossible unless the other races of Malaysian moved out from this country. This such laws could make sure tat Malay still Malay, Chinese still Chinese & Indian still Indian.

This could be seen from the history which the founder of the UMNO, Dato' Onn Jaafar. He had suggested to open the UMNO membership for non-Malay. But as the result, ppl din accept his idea & at the end he had to quit UMNO. Nowadays, the politicans r juz repeating the tactics used by British.

If u hv studied the Islam history, u might be found tat the Nabi Muhammad the such a great man. He is really a open minded, wise man. But if u look at the conditions in Malaysia, juz OMG...

Most of the Chinese family will prefer their children to keep on their own religions and cultures. As the Chinese in Malaysia is not much.

I think tat the religions r nt the problems, every problems is MADE BY HUMAN THEMSELVES.
