Yes, Nani wasnt in the squad. So was Park last year. So was Gaz, Macheda, Welbeck and all this year. So should they all be sent away?? It's call having a squad. And not everyone gets to play but a squad is always needed throughout the season.

And do I want to refresh. The answer is a plain no. The squad is perfect enough as it is with just the perfect amount of experiences, players coming to age and youngsters breaking thru. And I repeat, the squad is perfect enough as it is as being the Finalist of the CL, Semi Finalist of the FA Cup, Winners of the PL, WCC, Charity Shield and League Cup has proved. One loss in the final changes nothing as the team simply didn't turn, had we decided to turn it on Barca would have found us too hot too handle as proven from the first 10 minutes when we battered them. We got unluckily hit from what was their 1st attack and we got our heads down and never recovered. So as it turned out, we did not turn up and paid for it. Simple really. One bad game doesnt change the fact what an excellent season it was.

We were vulnerable this season?? For fecks sake. One bad game, and suddenly we're vulnerable. You people are a bit too spoiled sometimes. Expecting us to win every single game every single time. This isn't bloody FM. We had a record of clean sheets, one of the best defence in the league, Then we lost against Barca when the team just simply didn't turn up and suddenly...we're vulnerable. Seriously, ffs.

Fans for these years certainly get spoiled a lot, trophy mean everything for them, u are lucky consider u are not in season 05/06, that was the worst season we have to suffer

Season 05/06 indeed a sad year, no Nistelrooy, Keane left, early knock out from CL, Smith broken leg, Scholes went blind ... but we dint go trophyless thanks to the reserve team that seize us through the League final.
I remember being heartbroken everytime waking up early to catch Man Utd live in CL.
However, 05/06 created Giggs a chance of playing as midfield, a big comeback of his career i could say

I agree with you. Season 05/06 got to be the worst season in United history. only managed to win league cup (against Wigan ), lowest premier league finish..
Glad to see most of the Man Utd fans still stick with the them even though they are not doing so well, support the team through up and down. At the end, loyalty proves worthy.
