First Encounter
First time I met her was at school, I looked at her and she bowed to me. I tried to smile but I think it did not show on my face because we were prefects and I was on patrol. That was all for now.
Side story
So during that year some other unforgettable things happened. My class magazine got banned and I was partly blamed for not editing one of the stories under the English Section.  E, who was the author of the ‘inappropriate story’ had lived in America for a while you see. *You rock haha!*

Form 5 SPM year
I got to know Y, the younger sister of L because I accidentally messaged her and during that time I was pretty well known for my precious pets.( I had tarantulas as pets ) As time took its course, we got closer to the extent of becoming god siblings. Me, L and Y were very close indeed as L was the head prefect and I got elected to one of the top posts. At some point of the time I realized that I had totally fallen in love with L as I had often watched over her due to my obligations. It could be said that she was the force of good while I am that of evil. I would always reason with her and asked her to let me and a few others help her out. She would always refuse. There was one time, where a class was dirty and she took a broom and swept the class and even picked the rubbish up. I was totally stunned and a bit angered because that class was the last worst.(inhabited by the hopeless) This was the turning point, I became more and more fond of her. She was kind, respectful and supporting. I’d say that we were pretty close, we always exchanged little gifts like chocolate and etc. She handmade a birthday gift for me and I got her a bear in return.

– SPM and STPM exams commence –
So I asked her if she could give me a chance after the exams were over. 1st strike, I got rejected. She went to Taipei for a month and to make matters worse, Y told me that L already has someone in her heart. Later Y told me that the guy went to Taipei with L. Due to that I kept away from Y and sadly lost touch with L as well.

This year, suddenly Y passed to me a birthday gift. I was surprised that it was from L as I heard she was busy preparing to go to Russia. I asked her out and I wore a necklace on her which I bought earlier and before I dropped her off I asked if we could talk for a bit. I tried asking for a chance again and got rejected for the 2nd time. I guess God was against me that day as when we were out earlier that day, she got to know that her dear friend was warded and due to that my intention to bring her to the Menara Kris and Eye of Melaka sadly only remained as an intention.

I am grateful for 3 things :
-- I got to regain our  friendship
-- I fulfill my promised of treating her ice cream
-- At least I tried my best and I wont regret it

She’s going off on the 8th of September. All I can say is that my feelings for her has never faltered. Call me dumb or insult me all you want but I aint desperate so I don’t rush in moving on, I’ll let time do its job. I can’t thank her enough for everything, all the time that I’ve known her…magical.

This is my story guys, I’ve felt that something was missing in me all this time. I was searching and searching and I stumbled upon this thread, somehow this COBH thread fills the lacuna in my heart and please enjoy my story, my little contribution to this thread.

Footnotes: Clearly that due to the amount of time both of them spent together, it's impossible to say that they are not close at all, judging from the aforementioned situation, one might note that the girl is not attracted to the guy sexually / in other words 'bf-material' so he automatically falls into 'LJBF' category. Good read.

"I don’t know if anyone have ever experienced seeing someone for the very 1st time and just feel that she is the one for u. I had and trust me it wasn’t a good experience. Lets say I have the right intentions but have done things wrongly leading to the wrong impression. I saw this girl for the very 1st time and I just couldn’t take my eyes of her. Not at her body but just looking at her make me feel something. I cant really explain how I feel. In the end I stopped all contact, finally waking up and knowing tht wt I hav done was too desperate but the damage was done and I can feel the awkwardness and avoidance I received when around her.

This happened 1 yr ago but I still feel ashamed and felt tht if I had done things differently, things might actually have been much better. My frens hav told me to let go. I too know tht if I dun let go I might miss out on other opportunities but I just cant. The feeling is just too damn strong. My frens think that I have let go off her coz I dun mentioned about her to them anymore accept to my best fren. Sometimes I hav sleepless nights thinking about this over and over again. The only time where I can completely don’t think about this is when I am busy typing reports or thinking bout work. I have msged her to tell her I’m sorry and she has somewhat accepted but I still feel the same. I am hoping that when I don’t see her frequently anymore which is gonna be soon I will eventually forget. Just hope tht in the future I wont make the same mistake again. I don’t know if I still hav a chance with her but now I am just don’t have enough courage to try again and I don’t know what to do too."

Bottomline: If you rush it, and give the wrong impression, it's not gonna work anymore. From what I'd read well it's possible to gain back her trust, it's gonna be very hard. You have to prove that you're worthy to be trusted and befriend with.

Well clearly this person here is deeply infatuated in the girl. It's normal as when you're infatuated it makes you do silly things / things that you never ever think of. The thing is, when it's really out of control, you will lose yourself in the end. You feel the need to do this and that (which makes you possesive and stalker-ish attitude).

If this person were to take another route, I would suggest, kindly breaking the ice, win over her friends (instead of waiting for her to be alone -- it might scare a girl away as it's obvious that you're hitting her) and get to know her and from then onwards isolate her from her friends and let your conversation begin. Nevertheless, others might have their own opinions as well, and I stand corrected. All in all, be yourself, don't rush it, step by step show that you have keen interest in her and show that you're different from all of the other guys she'd met in her life.

Yeap, kino is basically physical contact. There are techniques to it to maximise efficiency, where to touch, when, in what order for proper escalation... but I don't bother with that

When approaching/talking a light touch on the upper arm is quite normal.
When walking, hand on shoulders/back to guide the girl in a certain direction or to make her avoid hitting a pole
Touching the hands (play a game, or if she's wearing accessories like bracelet/rings just take up the hand to examine said accessory)

many other ways, just use your observation to see your angle of attack and be natural about it

Answer: I think right, when we are torn between choices, somehow our heart will be naturally drawn to one of the choices. Sometimes we might not notice you know, and we keep finding good excuses or reasons to choose that particular chosen path.

So, i think it's better we follow our hearts than regret later. xD

My opinion -- Yes, not read, but understand what a girl thinks and wants. Read between the lines. Get to know the social flow. Make her comfortable while you're around.

one thing i learn from the past is chance is not up there for grab( Sorry for the pun) but chance is there to be made

Em we went on a kinda group date on wednesday at time square. Go for bowling and somehow notice she is lefty. Then uses all kind of excuses to initiate kino such as how many ear piercing you have,whats the time to get a hold of her hand then sometime grabbing her hand to teach her bowling and give her a slight pat at her back when she hit a strike. Then went for lunch and use the cocky but funny attitude with the occasional cursing but also to make fun of another friend. Then i use the neg theory to somewhat false disqualify her such as she is too short for my liking and too cute. Then we went seperate way as she go home first

By now we burn over 100 something sms and she is constantly talking bout me to her friend which is a good thing i think. Oh and i'm trying to get a date for yum cha maybe tonight or tomorrow
