I am wearing a Oakley Dictate 4.0 frame together with high index hoya compat lenses that costs RM1600++ after discount.

It's a titanium frame that is light, very strong and very durable. Most importantly, it's stylish and people have a different mentality on you. Especially for those shop assistants who can recognize you are wearing Oakley, they tend to make extra efforts to serve you better.

Overall, it's a quality product as I always drop it on the floor without the need to worry. The only problem that I have is the pewter/matte black color is dropping out perhaps I am too rough using it tongue.gif

I had an old SPLICE with Ice lens...
Got stolen along with my bag... Sigh...

That model has been discontinued and it was one of the only frames that could fit my flat fat face (Triple F!)
Now looking to find a similar fitting pair of oakleys...

I tried the JULIET and it was comfortable without touching my cheekbone (Most oakleys i tried touches my flesh below my eyes)... But they just look too small on my big face...

Does anybody have any experience with the X-Metal XX?
I know they are bigger so should be a better fit but i can't seem to find any shops that carry this model, they only have Juliets and Romeo 2 and Half-X...

I'm an oakley fan, and I don't think There'll be any brand that will be my primary sunglasses. But I can't afford a collection like yours lol.
So far I had a Oakley XX (lost in sunway gsc) and currently an Oakley Gascan.

i bought my intake 2.0 with normal high index lense for around RM700 from focus point.. i think its a good buy, other shops selling the frame alone for RM650.

During sales you can find focus point giving up to about 30% sales for oakleys. you can actually bargain a lil with them in Focus point. =)

actually, is it necessary to go for polarized lenses as i read somewhere that normal lenses might not give enough protection and in some cases might even be bad for eyes?

yeah some1 answer for this question i wanta know too.

Hv a square wire 2.0 polarized. planning to buy half jacket standarad frame, polarized very soon - inspired by Ben Foster in The Messenger lol what color lens is it btw if anyone knows. I tried it on, damn love it.

due to that, I'm planning to sell my SW2.0, do u think it's wise? Since it's out of production edi...and i wonder wht else i can do wit it any more, can it be used as RX? or there is a specifically SW2.0 RX? if so, what difference is it.

And want to ask why is Juliet so special beside the price? srsly, i wanto know.

Thanks

Anyone got other Oakley products besides glasses/shades?
I would imagine Oakley-freak would have their clothes, backpack, watches etc!
