no matter original games or pirated games.....at the end of the day, if your console is modded, you will have risk of getting ban.

can, but not that simple... need to share that connection using a laptop/pc. or u can get on of those 3G routers. however, 3G connections don't have public IP, you cannot host games, can only join.

The easiest way, get a wireless adapter for the Xbox 360. Does away with the hassle of cables but of course, your house needs to have wi-fi (it can be easily sorted out for as little as RM200-RM300),

For unknown reason, M$ stopped banning modded consoles for now.... So it's theoratically safe if it's not banned before.....

Just plug to a router or any device that can automatically sign on to internet and there you go~!

However, it's a bit tricky to use wifi.... you need either cheapest but hardest to configure--specially crafted routers, moderate on all but hard to get ol'xbox wifi box or the easiest but most expensive way--The native xbox360 wireless adaptor.

To be more precise, you need a router that can be flashed with DD-WRT or Tomato firmware.

XLink Kai with Xbox360? Not for us la. With streamyx, even playing online with ur neighbor cannot sure u will get ping time lower than 50ms. Ya..Xbox360 with XLink Kai got ping limit. Some games even need to have 30ms or else cannot connect.

It is more suitable for PSP and Xbox1.

furthermore, I only play Xbox like, 3 hours a day, only on weekends, so if I pay full price for online feels like wasted hehe

Developing a game isn't cheap...so why expect them to be cheap? a console system is not cheap either~!

I play 3 hrs per month ony, and yet, I paid the full whole year price as it's the cheapest compared to other month's package...

Or you can always collect those 72hrs trial card OR enjoy multiplayer on special weekend~!

Or Just simple sharing?

The simple sharing is quite easy, If im not wrong, configure Windows Media Player,
Start WMP -> Library Option -> Media Sharing.

There, if the xbox is connected properly, you'll see the picture, so, just click and approve sharing.
Your Music/Video and picture must be placed under My documents.
Turn on your xbox, go to any library, you should see your PC is available on the select source menu.

oh i have problems with sharing too, the pc detects my console, and i clicked share and all, but then console wont detect the pc, also ive heard that only few formats are detected by xbox (matroska and flv wont play,altho ive updated the optional media)

Hurm, firewall problem? Try turning off or reduce the security level.
Never heard of Mastroska, but flv format isnt supported.

It differs from what I've known.

The stealth firmware is actually detectable but of course, it's harder to detect by the XBOX LIVE moderator by a glance.

I've once heard people complaint about certain user using a pirate copy to online and yet no action is taken to the person. That makes me wonder that why they stopped banning people.

errmmm... if ur modem is the type that needs to you to dialup manually to tmnet , i think u need to key in ur password and tmnet username, and primary/secondery dns servers..

Each new xbox 360 console will provide 1 month free-trial gold membership for the first 3 xbox live gamertag register on the console. When you start register the 4th one, it will be silver gamertag only then.

Silver will not get you to play online game with others but you still can able to chat with friends, download demo, video but except those gold exclusive.
If want to connect to XBL, just plug in your Ethernet cable between your modem and console

It's not card...
1 month trial membership will be given when you sign up to xbox live using your xbox 360 console. Only the first 3 gamertag will be given

But one thing to remind, if you right now have offline gamertag and wanna become gold member, remember to choose "Join Xbox live" under your gamertag.
