all the apps were .sis
im was using default browser for it. when i dl something, it will automatically save and open without asking where to save the file into.
and somehow, the phone detect the .sis as "text/plain"
so when i zip, and unzip, only the phone will detect the file as .sis
just like u and kae7 said before, maybe it need to be saved into the phone memory first

btw, im already found a temporary solution for this.
rite now im using opera, it will ask where to save the file eveytime i download.

Ya..there is no way to set it like that..still don hav application or software that can do that..

my N82 almost 2 years old... and im having battery problem on my phone.

i charged it till full bar and then leave it standby for a day WITHOUT using it, no calls and smses received and when im back from works, the bar turned to half

is it the battery problem or charger problem?

so far anyone here encountered this problem before?

i can see that this is most likely because ur battery have degraded after the long term usage. i think your solution would be changing a brand new battery..definitely nothing to do with the charger in this case

however it's symbian we are talking about. u might wanna change if there are any apps that runs on the background....but mainly, i think is because ur battery is getting weaker liao, time to change one, old one use as emergency spare or something lo

My battery cannot last although for 1 day b4 but after change to AP battery it can last for 2 days now wif average usage,new ori battery might last longer.. so better change battery..

u can try find hito1115, i bought my original battery from him..although mostly using the sunglobal battery, but his stuff so far is quite good, bought few stuff from him now still using all of them

if your old memory card have garmin. Just copy the entire garmin folder over and also copy the installer and reinstall walla ure done

hey guys, u all know how much for replacing the LCD for N82 ? my set unlucky, dunno why suddenly the screen there appear some DEAD PIXEL. not only one dot, but a part.

lol dunno, mine has one whole line of dead pixel, damage from my ownself fall down when its on my pocket...

It is not size that matters, but on demand/supply, manufacturing, stocks and other internal/external factors. It is like asking why a 1GB DDR 400MHz RAM is more expensive than a 2GB DDR2 800MHz ? Or how come a mini cooper so small, is more expensive than Proton Perdana ? etc.

Also, depends on shop if they simply mark up too high.
