QUOTE(chess_gal @ Jan 19 2010, 11:21 PM) Yup, for credit card application, you need a minimum of S$60k per annum for non-PR otherwise, place a deposit of S$20k as lien (collateral) with the bank (not-withdrawable). eh.. I tot $60k is for the platinum card. Nvm.. I got a Corporate Card (individual liability) from my company when i still holding EP.. The requirement is $30k Salary p.a.

QUOTE(chess_gal @ Jan 27 2010, 12:44 PM) Yes, highly stress and pressure, it is like sitting in a pressure cooker waiting to explode. News of ppl jumping off from HBD due to work stress is very common. It is like everyday news. Ppl here has no life, work, eat and sleep, the cycle goes on. So don't bother to come. You wil die of boredom here. Lasttime it happens that an NTU staff jump out of the office building.. he just join NTU a few week.. Too stress... To cure myself from this boredom, i have to go back to JB every weekend to recharge.

QUOTE(crapp0 @ Mar 5 2010, 09:44 AM) Its been more then 2 years and they havent sent him anything. So i doubt that the singapore gov will track him down anytime soon since they would have after the first year of his employment. Plus if he leaves now, he can escape paying tax since they never requested him to file his income tax. Is ur brother providing the correct corresponding address?? Chance are that the letter are send to his address but not receive by him? This post has been edited by hkhk: Mar 6 2010, 01:42 AM

QUOTE(yokatasan @ Mar 11 2010, 09:49 AM) hey, i need advice from here i want drive my car from m'sia enter s'pore on monday and then back to m'sia on friday so i would like to know what's rules to drive m'sia car enter to s'pore? how long my car can stay in s'pore? U cannot kept your car in Singapore for more than 18 hours if you not under WP / EP. ##edited.. sorry.. Typo Added on March 13, 2010, 9:54 amQUOTE(Lester1987 @ Mar 12 2010, 12:38 PM) I have a school mate that is working in Singapore and live in Johor, he said travel by bus is faster (not sure how true was it). I got my job from a job agency, just put ur resume at job street, if ur requirement meets what the company wants, then they will look for u, you don't have to look for them. Just put ur desired working location as Singapore only. Travel by bus at Peak hour is faster than other. Bike definately slower.. yesterday 1st time I cross the causeway by bike.. take me 45 min to leave woodland check point even thought I reach there at 9pm... imagine during peak hour 6-8pm.. sure take longer.. QUOTE(wseng @ Mar 13 2010, 03:06 PM) U can keep car there for more than 18 hours ler... I tried before. Not sure on any rules how long u can drive it in singapore. But first 10 days of the year is free. Following pay SGD 30 per day . If u are a visitor, then driving into Sg using Malaysia Car is not a problem, u can stay untill your Social Pass expired. Just pay the parking fee and the VEP.. The VEP is SGD 20 per day.. If u have a EP/WP.. then, u cannot kept your foreign registered vehicle in Singapore for more than 18 hour.. OK actually the rule is that your foreign registered vehicle must be out of Singapore at least 6 hour a day... 24 - 6 = 18 hours.. Somebody said they did not enforce, U can try your luck.. I don't know what is the consequences if they found out this.. U can search at LTA website for how to drive into Singapore.. This post has been edited by hkhk: Mar 14 2010, 11:22 AM

If u ever experianced the massive jam at Woodland check point, then u will know why ppl still wan to take 2nd link.. look at the LTA webcam from onemotoring.com.sg on Friday 8pm, comparing the crowd for bikes at Woodland and Tuas, then u will know..
