DiGi already allows 4 non-DiGi number to be put into FnF list if were to subscribe for Super FnF package. Looks like Hotlink is the slowest for this. tongue.gif

the new plan is better than old plan.. but not good enough compare to other telcos becoz of area based rates for non-15pax.

but 15pax is really interest me, half-cent per sms is damn cheap.. can chat with gf 24hours per day.. and its not limited to celcom network only (although the sms for non-celcom 15pax is 6sen) but it still attractive ecsp about 12sen/min call..

i'll migrate my old xpax mid plan to this new xpax plan.. (actually that just for my backup line, becoz i had already uox and celcom postpaid cep50 in hand lol)

my conclusion..

15pax rates (very2 cheap)
- 1/2sen per sms (or 6sen if non-celcom)
- 12sen per min call
- 30sen per min video call

normal local voice call rates (considered cheap also)
- 38sen per min to ALL network

normal non-local voice call rates (expensive)
- rm1.80/min for voice call adjacent and non-adjacent is expensive. if im not mistaken, first adding is free, then subsequent replacing/deleting 15pax cost you rm1 per entry/number.. that mean, it is better for u to add the number into 15pax before calling him/her because it only cost you rm1 compare to rm1.80/min normal call haha..

normal non-local video call rates (very2 expensive)
- luckily i never made video call to not-so-close fren..

normal sms rates (acceptable - or should i say it quite cheap?)
- 10sen/sms to ALL

the only disadvantages is the red part which i believe your majority usage is not under that segment (right?). usually we make more local call (such as to office-mates, housemates, coursemates, husband/wife unless they're travel - erk, u should add him/her into your 15pax lol, etc) compare to non-local call. and if you always make non-local call to specific number u can add them into your 15 pax. so, decide yourself..

definitely the main selling point of this new plan is the 1/2 cent per sms.. well done Celcom.. thumbup.gif

i dont know if hotlink will revise their plan again (just few weeks after launching their new hotlink extra/basic plan). but im quite sure digi will do something, this is because digi is the only operator (beside dying umobile) didn't response yet to hotlink new plan..

maybe digi wait celcom react first before they attacking the market.. so now, its digi turn..

nice catch there epool!!.... everytime wanna make call to adjacent no for long time, better add that no. to 15pax!
hahaha...

if call from perak to selangor for 5min without 15pax(interoperator)
rm1.8x5min= rm 9.00

if in 15pax
rm0.12x5= rm0.60
incase of changing 15pax. add rm1.00
total= rm 1.60

hotlink extra
rm0.38x1min = rm 0.38
+
rm0.28x4min = rm 1.12
total RM 1.50

conc:
hotlink extra is cheaper. but with a trick, XPAX is cheaper!
for calls over 6minutes, XPAX surely win!!

they should allow lah.. why Celcom always not allow their user to switch plan? existing users also not allowed to switch to UOX/SOX. always need to buy a new number each time. no wonder Celcom already got 9.2milion 'users' now.. sweat.gif

Added on May 26, 2009, 4:09 pmSorry, missed the previous post. I'm on this new plan now. no charge to migrate.

Added on May 26, 2009, 4:10 pmthe only way to add number is to use SMS. seems like *118# and web doesn't work for 15pax yet.

old xpax (mid)

FLAT rates nationwide to Celcom 35sen/min
but, non FLAT rates to non-Celcom number. the adjacent call will be charge higher, even worst the non-adjancent call will be much more higher.

new xpax

non-FLAT rates nationwide to Celcom and non-Celcom too.
but at least adjacent and non-adjacent charge are the same.. plus, any local call to any network only 38sen/min.

"any local call to any network only 38sen/min"

this is the problem. how to know local call or not ? TM number is easy. How about hotlink 017-8x, 010 xox/digi, 014 prefix ?

nowdays not all 013/019/014-5/014-8 is celcom.

"any local call to any network only 38sen/min" mean call to any number (with any prefix, celcom or not celcom as well) as long as the number currently located at the same region. how to determine it? u should know where your fren currently at haha..

and yes, 15pax help a lot.

i wondering some of my fren cannot add 8pax or 15pax via ocs.. coz i can do it with my ocs account.. (plsz see the screenshot attached). but actually for me, adding/deleting via sms is not that dificult, the command is simple and all sent to the same gateway..

these are command that usually used,

- 8pax ADD <phone_no>
- 8pax DEL <phone_no>
- 8pax LIST
- MIG XPAX
- MIG BLUE
- MIG MID

all send to 28882 gateway. some of it also can be done via ussd *118#.

Block charges means Example per mins is 30cents

29 seconds and below = 15 cents

30 sec up to 60 seconds is = 30 cents

New crappy celcom s*x blood like maxis example 30 cents

1 sec to 59 sec = 30 cents even a sec after u end the call

In my opinion, this Celcom Xpax is good for 2nd number not as main number because of the feature can add offnet 15 FnF numbers. Other than that nothing is great about this plan to to it still uses local and adjacent rates!

Even to own network still uses those outdated rates sad.gif ,furthermore local rates are charge as 60sec block sad.gif

But at least old xpax call to onnet is flat rate of 35sen per min. New Xpac onnet call still follow those ancient adjacent rate Rm1.80!!!! Just fyi and comparision, digi call to US fixed line is only 20cent/min  whistling.gif
*
good point....celcom prepaid stupid adjacent/non adjacent call rates really show they want to cari untung out of people misery... normally prepaid user just middle class people...not corporate.... this is really sickening even for me who never been imposed by that stupid charge...

why we call call another country cheaper but call from south peninsular to north peninsular number is damn freaking expensive ?? shakehead.gif

If I am not mistaken the writing in small prints says 15paxs to all network applies to local only.

So if I listed a non celcom number in adjacent and non adjacent area as my 125pax I will have to fork out the normal rate and not the discounted one.

yes, u can pun all 15 number maxis or digi if u want. the rates is still 12sen/min call.. but the sms is not half-cent, but 6sen/sms.. because half-cent sms applicable to 15pax celcom number only.

i wondering some of my fren cannot add 8pax or 15pax via ocs.. coz i can do it with my ocs account.. (plsz see the screenshot attached). but actually for me, adding/deleting via sms is not that dificult, the command is simple and all sent to the same gateway..

these are command that usually used,

- 8pax ADD <phone_no>
- 8pax DEL <phone_no>
- 8pax LIST
- MIG XPAX
- MIG BLUE
- MIG MID

all send to 28882 gateway. some of it also can be done via ussd *118#.

hi.. I just bought my celcom starter pack today and I don't even know about this new package. Previously my old no used 8pax plan which only cost 1sen/sms and suddenly my new no is by default is 15pax.

I tried to register 8pax on but I did received 15pax on. i don't want this blue celcom package coz the sms rate is very expensive compared to old 8pax though only for 8 people.

My question is how can I change my plan from 15pax to 8pax which cover 1sen/sms for my 8pax list? I read previous posting which also has MIG MID. I still confused which plan should I migrate? It's free for the first time rite?

Besides, my old 8pax plan covers a week free call to your 8pax list number during my birthday and the 15pax only give you 1 day free service. I don't need 15 people to add into my list as I seldom sms to different person.

Kindly reply my question if anybody has solution for this matter. Thanks in advance.

its confirmed 28cents for 10min to celcom and 28cents for 5minutes to other telco...

it charges 10&5min per block..

if u call celcom for 1-9:59minutes= 28cent. 10-19.59 then total cost 56 cents

no other hidden charges!...

but for penang user, celcom now having a glitch for call rate.... it charge 10cents per minutes until 30th april... the rate will be normal X2 plan on 1st may!... that what celcom CS told me! because curerntley celcom having penang special promotion call nationwide @10cen per minutes until the end of this month!

Got.

But you have to pay. RM30 for 1year and RM50 for 2year. Plus, in 6 month, you have to make sure that RM30 available in your account or you will be automatically terminated.

it's consider we buy a bulk of call time. if we can fully utilise , then we enjoy it.

if we just use for few second/ minute. can say, not much benifit.

That's why I disabled both my numbers' voicemail service, and encourage others to do it as well...

Unless you really use the voicemail service. But then again, how many of you really use it?

Change now! Call CS, ask them to disable the damn thing... (it used to be easy to disable it ourself - at least maxis used to be easy ##009#)

But now we need to call them... sigh...

talk for 5mins? or 10mins?

Too bad its hard to identify which telco, we are calling...
Anyway to easily tell which telco we are calling?

Should we now give a phone number, with a D or M or U or C at the back?

then after sent it, i checked back the balance and just 15sen were deducted smile.gif

just once la, after that i didn't reply back even he/she always sent laugh.gif

pay RM30 - 1 year credit validity
pay RM50 - 2 years credit validity

But with 28sen minimum per call....you might not need the validity as you will topup often.

I've made another call to CS. This time a lady personnel answered & told me my expiry date will not be affected.
So, i swicthed to the new Xpax plan.
True indeed, like what you guys stated...the previous 2-year expiry still intact. Just RM5 was deducted rclxms.gif

I wondered did i really dialed 1111 on my first attempt to find the answer hmmm...

Xpax2 using the adjacent/non-adjacent rate (old celcom rate); where KL call Johor registered number is RM1.80/min?

OR flat rate?

Refer below:

QUOTE(hirano @ Jun 11 2011, 01:47 PM)
Yea not with xpax. I was charged RM10.80 for 4 mins call from celcom-to-celcom. Just because both of us are using southern numbers, and both in the northern state. Happened just last month.
*
http://www.xpax.com.my/xpax_plan.html
. All call rates applicable to local calls only.
. Adjacent and non-adjacent voice calls are at RM1.80/min (30-second block)
. Adjacent and non-adjacent video calls are RM2.80/min and RM5.20/min respectively (30-second block).
. All call charges unless stated are based on 60-second block.
. Rates applicable to the new XPAX plan only.

Let say at first I purchase the reload xpax for the activation of the Iphone 4.

After other months I don't purchase reload, can I still use the Iphone 4?

about the celcom 30% free promo, i got the offer and they credited me 3rm for the 10rm reload last month 20th.
as far as i know, it seems the bonus does not have a limited validity, ie its infinity. i still have part of the 3rm untill now and whenever i type *124# the report just says they amount left without mentioning a date.

I last reload rm100 on 8th Mar, also received this msg just 2 days before my expiration date. And I got rm30 bonus.

Now after 1.5 month, I still have rm0.70 as my bonus. So it seems like this bonus has quite long validity date.
