Well yeah...he wore nike CTR 360 yesterday

Dayyyymmnnn the CTR360 looks good. It doesn't look too flashy, which is what I like (I live by the rule that crappy players such as myself, should stay away from flashy boots).

Is it morally wrong to hope that you misplace your current boots?

Hi all. Adidas has been my preferred choice of soccer boots after i experimented with Kronos (orange), Line 7 (silver) and Nike.

Previously, i was using the white Precision ones with the Champions League logo, affixed on the heel, for about 6 yrs. I bought them in 2001.

nevertheless, the material of the boot was wonderful. i loved it! late last year, the studs chipped off and i threw them away into the refuse chute. I REALLY REALLY REGRET DOING SO!

so it was time to get another pair.

i did some research online (unhelpful to say the least as most of the boots were available only in EU & UK), made a few visits to popular sports shops, before finally deciding on the latest Adidas Traxion Firm Ground.

The boots had a band attached to the tongue which had to be placed under the foot.

i've probly used the boots on no more than 30 occassions.

from day 1, the right boot cause much discomfort to the side of my feet. i dismissed it thinking that it was all part of 'seasoning' them.

as time went on, i played with the pain and accepted it. recently however, the bad attached to the tongue of the boot wore off and now, the tongue flaps all over when im running.

as a result, the right boot feels loose and coupled with the pain, it is indeed annoying.

moreover, the laces seem like they're wearing out and threatening to break at any moment.

im wondering if the white Adidas Precision can be bought in Malaysia?

the 2nd pic is the one of the boots i bought. a complete waste of money and seriously was detrimental to my right foot's lifespan.

i really hope you guys can help me out with my queries.

So you got the powerswerves eh? Did you get the predator absolado powerswerve, predator absolion powerswerve or predator powerswerve?

IMHO, don't bother getting the absolado or absolion, those are poor cousins of the real deal.

I want to get a pair of futsol shoes budget 130. ANy recommendation guys?

hm.... i doubt u'll be able to find it tbh. urs is even older than what i was looking for (vapor 3 and 4), and i had no success finding em.

regarding the absolion... after buying a pair of umbros with the band for the tongue its almost a rule for me not to buy that type again. malaysian playing surfaces means the band will break fast.

perhaps look into buying the nike super ligera or air legend?

There are two versions of nike CTR360 actually. The higher end one is Nike CTR360 Maestri which is over rm 600+(the one fabregas wearing) while they have released another lower-end boots for normal users like me which is CTR360 Libretto(the one you have bought i think). The price is around 200+.

just came back from singapore, Queensway mall...THE place to shop for shoes in singapore...

due to impulse buying :-p , i got myself two futsal shoes which i've been searching for in malaysia but couldn't get...haha...

got a yellow Nike5 T-3 and a green Nike5 zoom T-5....now thinking to let go the yellow T-3 hahaha....

was actually looking for the T-7 (kangaroo skin! woot!), but too bad, no size liao...

hahaha...yup, for collection...coz it's rilli hard to find in malaysia...even al-ikhsan which i went to also cannot get....of course, i haven't search all the shops in malaysia yet... :-p

if i dun sell it, i dun mind keeping it also....can rotate and use...haha...

yeah i checked. only the libretto available with futsal soles. the maestri only football boots. gonna get to try em out tonight. cant wait!

haha...i actually wanted to get the T-7, but no size...malaysia too expensive la, T-7 retails for around RM349...the one i found in singapore is about RM280 only....

I think you'll have to wait for a sale or something. I actually found one here(in kuching) during sales below rm 300.

anyway, T-5 is good enuff for me... :-)

Yea T-5 is pretty comfy adi. I'm loving mine now, only for some weird reason the right shoe lace started to shred really fast whereas the left side nothing wrong. But then shoe lace easy to replace ah.
