wahhh....don have any xperience do upgrade FW using FOTA...how long it takes??

It's been a week since i got the tube..and all i can say. i'm very happy and satisfied with it. No need to soft or hard reset. All works well. No sound. LCD, hang problems. So far, not much apps installed (only Garmin n songs) and will keep experimenting this tube day by day. (Already got some apps in pc, just wait to install it to tube)

Right now, installing songs.. already about 20 hours of songs.

Well i don't think so there is any way where you can connect PC internet connection.. Or else you can download it from the PC and then you can transfer it to ur phone.. thats the option i guess..

hi everyones.. my brother just own a 5800.. currently have some problem with the 3G.. is that network mode choose " Dual Mode ".. and he is using MAXIS.. i tried to do the " *136# ".. but when i try to video call... its appear a error.. " video call not supported by network "... any solutions ? thx dude.. =D

If you are talking about FW, it takes only 2 minutes to download. And about 3 minutes to let it install the FW.

If while downloading it corrupted ntg much will really happen. But if ur phone suddenly crash while installing then it might brick your phone. Still, I suggest you do it at home than a public wifi place like starbucks.. etc

For this Flash Lite update I don't think so. If really no chance to get wifi I guess u have to wait for it to be included in the next upcoming firmware update via NSU.


In phone memory = themes / apps that you use everyday
In memory card = games / apps that you don't use frequently / songs / movies


Reason why? When you format your phone, a fresh phone only got 77.6mb of memory free. As you use the phone, the space become less and less. So phone memory is very precious. An example of an app that I use everyday is the Free iSMS so I install that to phone memory.

So why themese and apps you use everyday?
Themes > Because when you connect via Mass Storage, ur memory card will be in use and will disable the theme if its installed in memory card.
Apps you use everyday > Because the data rate is faster if stored in the phone memory than memory card so the app runs better.

BUT sometimes apps that you don't use everyday MUST be installed to phone memory otherwise it don't work. Such as the Python UAChanger...

erm...wanna ask how to remove themes that is installed????
coz previously i update my phone to v21 then my old themes still inside my memory card and it is detected by my phone, then i want to remove some of it but I cant found the theme inside the installed application there....how can i remove ler??

go to setting --> application manager --> highlight the application / theme --> option --> uninstall

Bro, his issue is that the theme is not even in the Installed Apps list.

I had this problem. For me I reformatted the whole phone and start again.

But if u want to be experimental, you can try the Python Uninstaller.

well...u reformat n start again it will still detected the theme installed in my memory rite???so the same problem will still occur rite?? coz i install all my theme in my memory card....

It is a guide and works perfectly to delete themes that are not in the uninstall apps folder. Give it a try, works well

need helps. Just installed voice 'drnightmare' from garmin website into my tube in Garmin/voice folder. But when i login Garmin, the voice is not there.
