OMG....not too bright meh? Try to reduce 50% and c if ur heat problem go away.

that backlight settings is just ok for my eyes only, if i use 5/10 is too dark, but will try and see it tomorrow

Your backlight and contrast also at highest setting..no wonder la..
Somemore your TV model has very high dynamic contrast ratio..

I think for house viewing, Contrast @ 75, Brightness @ 45 and backlight @ 8 is more than enough..

i set backlight to 6/10, the temperature really went down, by A LOT!! sweat.gif

but 6/10 backlight too dim for me

You might want to find optimal setting for your particular model. Search the net.

i mostly set the settings to my standard, if just follow the choice from my parents, what they see also the same doh.gif

there should be only heat and not hot till you can't touch the panel..either LCD or Plasma (generall produce more heat)

If too hot am sure something is not right....later panel might melt also wink.gif

of course can touch the panel, if cant then really serious problem
