QUOTE(AADH @ Sep 3 2010, 08:50 PM) Hello everyone, I need some help, I just bought a Wii from US via order through a friend, and I found out that the Wii [US] requires 110 volt to run, as our country supports 220-240 volt, I am afraid that if I plug in the adapter to the socket it may blow my Wii or the adapter, what should I do [recommendation]? Should I get a Official 220-240volt Wii AC Power Adapter or get a step-down transformer [Recommend me a good one please]. All help is appreciated thank you. i have a US wii too. and i have both. when i take my wii on trips i use a china made ac power adapter. when my wii is at home i use the transformer. Post Script: My Wii power requirement says 12V ~ 45 Watts. ac power adapter: bought china made for about 40rm. so far no issues and i have been using it for > 1 year. if u want peace of mind get the original, but its very hard to find. i believe the brand was Wu. transformer: bought it for 100rm, it also doubles as a surge protector for those thunderstorm days. i don't think brand matters coz there are so many in the market. but if u must know i can peek at my transformer tom morning. right now i'm too lazy to walk to my living room. what do i recommend. well the ac power adapter seems like the cheaper solution. and it works even though in the internet there are some horror stories. but to me it works no issues. |

there are only 3 options:
1. buy a new PAL console 2. Mod your console 3. sell the PAL game (online) to someone from that region, and get yourself a US game of d same title. option 1 is obviously d most unlikely from the 3 options. there are lot guides out there (wiihacks.com) and such to help u achieve option 2. now, to make things complicated, depending on combination factors like your console build (serial number), and the PAL game title (is good if u share the game title) - is difficult to run perfectly without an external hardisk. so do some research before embarking on this risky option option 3 to me is best if u don't want to be hassled with all d modding mumbo jumbo. |

xbox and ps3 is hardcore. that is y they look the same, only ubah the kedudukan analog stick atas sikit so it doesn't look so boring like the ds3. hardcore like more of the same thing. they hate things that r different coz they already perfected the art of pawning everybody with their beloved double analog controller. wii are for losers who plays with only 1 analog stick on 1 had, and swing like a lunatic on d other hand. i mean thing about it man, its not cool doing that. hardcore are cool dudes who looks like ice from 10meters away (is hard to see their fingers moving at that distance). wii, definitely for losers

QUOTE(eyedeal @ Jan 21 2012, 06:29 PM) Dear wii owners out there.. i'm planning to buy wii for quite sometime already but after going around, i was informed that nintendo is already slowing down on games production, meaning most of the game outhere r last seasons game.. well we cant 100% belief seller because some time they just say things because they want u to buy something else.. Yes its true.new version of wii coming out late this year.wii games production is slowing down but one thing people always forget is they buy console because of the games.and there are so many current games to choose from.so, so what if production is slowing down.it really doesn't matter other than being ' In'.so wanna ask and clarify with wii owners, is it true nintendo is coming out with a newer version, one that would totally make the old one obsolute and is it games r runing short these days? do comment and advice.. thanks!! |
