got a friends, previously he bought his Iphone from oversea. after he accidentally plug his Iphone to a laptop with Itune. the iphone OS upgraded and it not working with our Maxis sim. is this need to be unlock back and how much it cost. please PM me.

I have the iphone 3gs 16gb. Firmware 4.0 can't detect any wifi. Tried restoring many times but with no success. Also tried resetting network setting - failed! Supposed to be hardware prob.
How much will it cost to repair it? pm me the price |
