IMHO, i think he's using Garmin because it's the only most famous navigation brand in Malaysia bcoz the map is updated monthly.. TomTom, iGO, Papago etc don't have updated maps like Garmin does.. u can have a try with Garmin.. but i heard iGO has the best graphic.. UK map should be well updated for all brands

yea garmin works well with my d2, but need to get position locked 1st before being inside car or house

by the way, need to confirm on this ..... usually charging time how long till it full... have to leave it overnite is it, cause my power still stated that my last full charge are the nite i bought the phonne,

I have charging issue with my TD2 too. The indicator never seem to turn green indicating battery fully charged. Even i left it overnite (charged for 9 hours). The power bar showed 60% charged.
I have to reset my phone then only it shows fully charged.
Does that mean my battery has some problem? I had sent my phone back to PDA Expert for an exchange for a new battery...but the issue persisted...any advice?

agree with the bad reception thingy. also the music player, quite crap actually. web surfing is very good with this phone

i will try again charging it overnite today and see what happened tomorow... if problem still persis, maybe ill go to pda arena to clarify on this, and maybe install some games....lol

i have no issue with charging the phone, when i click on power in settings after fully charge it shows full bar.

btw, what movie player u use, i cant seem to play my movie files

the preferred movie player for windows mobile is called coreplayer. plays almost everything, but definitely not rmvb

I find out that it is very hard to remove the back cover. Does anyone has this problem too?

1st try charging with the phone in OFF condition success as i get the green led light up, but the phone software dont recognize the date of charging as it still indicate last full charging date is the date i 1st bought the phone...

next try will be ovenite charging with the phone on and perhaps with the flight mode on ( the reason i do this is that afraid if the cellular line uses lots of power and maybe downlading thing while asleep.....

will come out with the result later as now my phone are still full.... i like to wait till it give me warning than i charge the phone....

hey anybody know does d2 can play games like i-phone just usingjust lik in tv showing iphone playonh racing games or dice games , if yes can info me the games name?

help plss...already install Garmin XT ver 5..can run but cant connect to satelite.. can anyone tell step by step to install correctly?

i think u should connect he garmin on open space... not in house or car or building... or u can connect using mapking ...lol.. my phone had been install with garmin and mapking.... at 1st both my mapking and garmin cant connect to satelte... but after a while my mapking can connect.... have to wait longger i guess for 1st time connect.. than my garmin can connect easily but should be in open space... than after connect u can go inside the car....

by the way what maps are u using

Hmm.. I assume you had successfully installed Garmin XT. To use internal GPS, you need to touch on the reception bar -> touch 'Disable' button and select 'Use GPS Intermediate Driver'

Next, touch 'Enable' button and there you go~ you should able to locate satellite! Cheer~


Now my question! Keyboard/Chinese input missing from the SMS. Now all I get is keypad for any input! when i touch at keypad button (used to switch between keyboard/keypad/chinese), it only display and hide the keypad. Anyone know how can I enable keyboard?
