QUOTE(kmarc @ May 14 2009, 10:49 AM) I'm afraid of the lurking bear...... that's why not willing to enter yet...... However, with the news of support from Khazanah and maybe EPF, TM might still go up despite market trends..... Anyway, I hope for it to drop a bit first before going in.... TM is quite safe from the bear kua..the high div and capital repayment negates the bear effects

QUOTE(cherroy @ May 14 2009, 11:54 AM) I smell there is little foreign fund in the market (KLSE), most big cap are so thinly traded even with total market volume exceeding 3 billion lately. So KLSE doesn't response to DJ and overseas movement much. As whenever there are lot of foreign funds in the market, KLCI movement is highly correlated with overseas bourses. forget about the volume...... the volume u mention is come from pennny counter.

QUOTE(SKY 1809 @ May 14 2009, 10:29 AM) No, anything relates capital nature. "Profit from investing" in shares is not subjected to tax. Capital Gain. Where do you read this? What I read on other blog, it is taxable. Still clueless, TAXable or not?

This is not really new news. I've been seeing bad reports on steel since the early stage of the rally. That's why I dumped all my steel counters a month. Somehow, market doesn't care much about it. Maybe they look into the future where the demand is high. Still don't know to buy or to sell steel counters... QUOTE(viper88 @ May 14 2009, 11:06 AM)
