You are right...they definitely have to monitor this forum.

Your colleagues and friends...happy with the result?  UD must be very busy..coz lots of recommendations.  I hope they can cope.

BTW, my next project is walk-in wardrobe..but only do next year....koyak liao..definitely will ask UD again. In fact, there's a whole list of projects..built-in shoe cabinet, bookshelf, bar...wish got $$$ to do all at once..but looks like have to do slowly.
*
emm...yes they are very happy. atleast they found UD is reasonable and cheap compare to other they went b4.

I will do my KC 1st then breakfast counter later...next year for walk-in wardrobe for all room.

Should I install the tiles till top or should I leave the top cabinet area empty without tile and only tiles the middle level (between table top and top cabinet) once the cabinet fixed?
*
i also think of it. just install the tiles or glass mosaic between the top and bottom cabinet.
so this will save the tiles cost as well..since top and bottom will cover by cabinet.

or another is install the cheap tiles at bottom and top...middle part bought expensive tiles.

My kitchen cabinet is finally done today! I'm one of the happy customer in hiring Unity Kitchen. From the first meeting Erny has shown me his professionalism in handling the project before I even decided to give them the job. when he's away, his team mate Nicole has helped me with the details, I don't have to repeat the things I want as she already aware about them. Seems Erny has done a proper handover. The another thing that impressed me alot is the 3 cabinet installers who came. (sorry that i didnt get their names), They were so punctual, professional and well disciplined!! I can see that they enjoy doing on what they are doing. Erny, this is to let you know that you and your team deserve a "pat on the back". I'm so pleased with the outcome of the project and can't wait to move into my new house. If you asked me to give Unity Kitchen a rating.. I would say 8/10... The 20% is for the room for improvement wink.gif kudos unity kitchen!

Guys.. was wondering, if i want to use solid surface as table top, can the place where we going to put the stove be lower by 6inch? For example the heights for the table top is around 34-35 inch, but the area where we going to put the stove will be around 28-29inch? Something like a 'u'?

Hi guys,

Just wondering are Unity Design really competitive in their pricing?
I mean for their material and quality of it.
Long terms users please feel free to comment.
I am looking to get kitchen cabinet, wardrobe and tv cabinet from them.
*
Maybe i suggest you visit other kitchen cabinet in the town...and look on their product in showroom.
Then put Unity Design for your last visit...and tell us your feedback... tongue.gif

Of course we are not the cheapest one in town. Haha! I think we only can consider as medium-end company. For customer who are looking for high-end cabinet, but only want to pay me medium-end price, I will simply reject him since I know we are still not perfect to provide the best.. Anyway, just try our best lo. Cheers!  smile.gif
*
Hi Enry, recently unity design just install the kitchen cabinet at Sungai Buloh. 3G white + granite black.
My coll say she pay the medium-end price but get the high-end cabinet from you all.... thumbup.gif

cls is 1 of the shop i went at puchong branch... yes they will not print d quotation coz i believed dun want us to go and compare or show their competitors.... i dealt with them for my wardrobe last time before frens recommended unity to me...
*
If your price is reasonable and if they have good quality product...why they scare ppl compare their price?
I never hear that we need to pay deposit for quotation... now is OPEN market business la...

If they have GOOD quality and sales services...i don't mind to pay extra!!!

Added on August 3, 2011, 11:16 amLet me share other Kitchen quotation experience....

The salesman will give u nice and good services 1st...and tell u and explain u and come out with quotation also....when u say think think and come back later...their face is change....no more smile on their face...and keep force me to pay deposit 1st...100 also can...200 also can....

Then when go to Unity Design, they provide u free print 3D design and Quotation on the spot and then later email you the 3D photo as well. U can walk out after the quotation...they not even ask u pay any booking or keep ask u to buy.

QUOTE(ryzzal @ Aug 3 2011, 12:38 PM)
agree with u.... 6 quotations that i requested, i only received 2 3d drawings complete with quotation...

yes its open market and very competitive... some shops expect we all have money and wanted to confirm on d spot... but the most service beyond my expectation was unity as when i call and email, they replied with 3d design straight... others i need to meet, explain, request few times only got 3d design...

that was 1 of the reason i choose unity..  its customer service oriented....
*
They can provide you the 3D design straight from the floor plan cos they know how to help u design what is best and location for your kitchen cabinet. Kitchen cabinet is very common unless u need a specific design.
and they can break the diff cost for soild surface, granite, melamine or 3G....no need waste our consumer time to ask and ask again.

Erny, the prices you quoted in the promotion above, inc. both wall and base unit?
*
should be!
Hahaha...based on my calculation is below:

granite 12 x 190 = 2280
base 12 x 190 = 2280
top 9 x 130 = 1170(take out 3' for hood)
drawer set 120
bottle basket 180
dish rack 130
frosted glass 2x80 = 160
transporation = 80

Total 6400.00(not included the hood cover color board & end panel price)

RM6900 should be the gross price included all handle/hinges, gas spring....
