iPhone 3G/3GS after warranty-repair where?, Warranty/Repair [Discussion]

I got my 3GS from maxis like 1 month++. the moment I got it I forgot to check. It appears my home button actually sunken half but I got no problem in getting it press. Its just a button without a click sound n no difficulty in using it.. Some more for the whole month I was abusing the how button a lot but it still doesnt fail me.
So my question is shud I get a replacement for it?? Or shud I just look for someone to just fix the button? Honestly I scare maxis will not accept the problem or they replac wif model/refurbished.
Still my home button is usable.

since they already stop selling 3GS 16gb and 32gb, how are them gonna handle the warranty for those machines which haven't reach a year old yet? no choice but to let them fix it? no more 1 on 1 exchange liao?
