Guys, what do you think about the future 2nd hand value of this car?

In my opinion, the value of this car won't depreciate as much as ordinary korean car because the demand for this car would be quite high as the reasonable pricing for such high specs.

I am seriously considering to get this car but would love to test drive it before i buy, do you guys think the CBU unit will still be available after the car launched? And, after the CBU units sold out, where is the car going to be assembled?

One more thing, hows the after sales service of NAZA? I heard there is only a few SC around klang valley is that true?

If you're worried about Korean cars depreciation..do stay away..for the Forte..we won't know until the next couple of years...
The car has been proven good track record for the past one year since it was launch...but here in Malaysia and majority still have the  "avoid Korean car" mentality..
Unless Kia can re-educate everyone with their new car line such as the Forte, Soul and new Sorento..Malaysian mindset won't change..Forte would definitely rely on reviews from local reviewers to boost them up top with T & H makers..

At this moment..SAs around saying there'll be hundreds (unspecific) amount of CBUs and later will be CKD..CKDs are assembled at Gurun Kedah =/

A Kia SA called me say can give me 2K    discount wor for the 83k car.
also he will check on freebies.
then, i told him the emblem can change Kia he said should be able too.
i asked..FREE?
he said can-lah

i was told by SC person that spectra5 can go 190Kmh if we floor the pedal, anyone tried? did burgerlim tried it before on his forte?

regarding the SC, i was also being told that certain service stuffs are compulsary wether u want it or not ..they gonna charge it in the bill.

eg: fuel injector cleaner (RM19+) , rain X winshield washer (Rm4) , battery terminal cover (RM..forgot already) , sundry items..(RM4) ...

all the above except battery terminal cover , HAVE to be included in the bill every time you send your car to KIA SC for service. The manager told me it was the guidelines set by KIA.

yeap,the oil is expensive...the manager told me KIA ask them to use syntium 3000 rm209 , but they put in pennzoil fully synthetic..rm 209 discount 5% .

every thing add up to be rm 245 for my service yesterday
i've just checked the page..fuel injector cleaner and rainX is not included ma....waste my money

So far nothing yet..I'm gonna see Min tomorrow..

i went to see the SA this afternoon as my appt was nearby.
he confirmed to me car selling price 83K give me discount 2k = 81K.
i told him everwhere also said price not confirmed..he said his boss (Branch Mgr) already called HQ to confirm.
then he confirmed with his boss again launching only 2 colours - white & silver (CBU), again that's what his boss told him.
he also said..can change emblem to KIA, no problem..FOC.
and, will give tinting from Care World worth RM600.
sounds too good to be true-leh since other branches/dealers also said price not fixed.
mmmm...nobody even dare to give a firm price except this guy-lah.

that's why i told him i know some friends (u guys-lah) who has already made booking at another branch.
then i say if i recommend over can give all of us the same and better deal or not?
he said since u guys book from branch..its not nice-lah - like 'stealing' from own brother.
