guys.. any way can get rid off the steering vibrate when braking other than skimming the disc? Any other brand can be replaced other than oem one?

startin 2 regret a tiny little bit taking the ivory white, coz it looks horrible when dirty

bear wit it laa.. washing is out of the question coz it keeps raining every single day..

no need regret la..ivory white is a nice colour..jst need 2 wash more often so it won't look so dirty

u keep the box until i see u next time la...don't ost it ya...i like tat colour..hahaha...the treat u let ur glider makan la..no problem,,,some are samples from kelvin which i havent give my gliders coz they sleeping...

Just came back from 1st service at the Perodua Service Center at Petaling Jaya (Jalan 19/1). Total time took about 2 hours (8:30-10:30).

Good
- Lobby and waiting area is clean and well maintaned.
- Counter staff are polite and friendly. They also speak good English.
- You can watch your car being serviced from the waiting area through a large window.

Bad
- Limited parking space - lots of cars even on a Wednesday morning
- Water dispenser in waiting area not refilled, almost empty
- Toilets are clean but small
- Counter staff will not tell you they add optional stuff in 1st service unless you ask

Total price I paid was 177.00, because they included optional stuff and I used my ATM card to pay.

Okay. Next service I might ask them to remove the optional accessories from the package.

Ah, I think I wasn't being clear enough. I meant future optional accessories in future services.

guys, do u still send ur myvi to perodua sc even after ur warranty has passed?
as im thinking of doing it outside. now need to find reliable workshop around puchong, sunway, subang and bukit jalil.
any suggestions?

Hi guys~ I'm just wondering what you guys think of parking our Myvis outside the house around the housing area. Is it safe? There are too many rumors that Myvi is one of the top cars wanted by car thieves which made me very insecure of parking my car outside, but I have no choice since there's no more space to park my car in the house (behind the gates). Do u guys install any security system like Captor or something like that just to be safe?

Izzit common Myvi wobbles during highspeed braking (170k/h++) or there is sumthing wrong wit my car???

Wobbles as in jerking/shaking? Can check your disc rotor or brake pads. But then again, myvi braking at 170km/h?? Our myvi are not built for high speed velocity as the body is not solid enough. Its a family car after all. Probably can add front strut bar and Rear Anti Roll Bar if u havent have any.

He didnt really said vibrating at first. He said wobbles which can have so many meanings.
Can be vibrating=disc rotor, can be swaying=Anti Roll Bar/Anti Sway Bar.
I find it very much useful when cornering. Front Strut Bar + Rear Anti Roll Bar.
Significant before and after effects.

Not sure if u're talking about just Anti Roll Bar.

So what do u reckon the best foundation for the rear chassis? Need ur expertise on this.

Apparently, all the guys at MMC and MyviC have installed Rear ARB.

For me, I havent installed it yet as I have other parts to be added/changed first. Hehe.

I installed it too... and a few of my friends too.

But why no effect? we all can really feel the difference of installing one and without one...

Basically the body-roll is greatly reduce during cornering, I guess you can also say you can have a better control of your car when cornering...

I dont have RARB. But alot of ppl do. Thats why I asked. But for me to get one are pretty slim because I'm saving for Cusco Front Strut Bar. U know how expensive the brand is. Hehe.

erm...been having this problem since i changed my tyre...when i driving slow speed, roughly 20km/h, i can feel tat my car are travelling on uneven surface...but i see the road are flat....
and when i brake a bit hard during high speed, i can feel my car shaking..tis i thought was the disc brake problem..but i sent to perodua to check but they said my brake are perfectly fine..
anybody know wat is the problem here??

@ 1st, car batt kong... I turn on my air-cond, @ idle it died cuz lack of power. 1 of the battery plate corrode edi, so da circuit inside da battery is not complete (According to my mech).  Halfway on da fast lane, I press da clutch to upshift next gear... from 3krpm-0rpm  

Around 100km/h likdat I kenot steer my car properly. Steering became abit heavier thn usual. I could not reach 2 da left lane cuz too many cars n they all dowan 2 give way...   Stop @ da right lane, I takut might kena scoop by oncoming traffic... I quickly turn on my hazards n get out 2 re-direct traffic

No power 2 crank @ all... Blur wit the mysterious "penyakit" attack my car, then I remember 2 do like the "Flinstone's" way...   Push da car all by myself, 1 side of my leg holding down da clutch (in 1st gear) the other side of my leg started pushing da car. Surprisingly Myvi wuz demm abit heavy   Tried a few attempts n manage 2 get it running. Drove 160km/h all da way home w/o aircond. Even winding down my windows @ idling can see da dashboard lights become dim    Reach to da workshop, replace batt n found out my master pump (at the servo) is leaking badly. Change battery, master pump n brake oil... RM610 bye..bye...

Ive just got myvi yesterday new car.
Next to driver seat the door handle got a paint ripped off abit.
Do you think i should go for the 1st service and claim it ?
Or do you think i can claim it ?
Or do you think i should go claim it on Monday itself?
