guys.. i might be going for d90 kit rather than alpha 700 la.. save more on lens.. and get sb900.. what do u guys think?

The problem with alpha_company is that he is worse than an old aunty shopping for spoons in CK Tang  . Very indecisive. By tomorrow morning he will be in love with the A700 and Cobra again  .   

im jumping already...hehehe d60 to d90.. just turn that "6" 180 degrees and u get a "9"..

i wished.. hehehe.. if im going for d300 i cant get the sb900 lar.. budget2..d300 has a much better grip.

but i also need to kepp in mind that D300 weather proof body is only useful if used with weather proof lenses..and those weather proof lenses are usually those expensive ones like 70-200 2.8 etc.. big2 tele lenses etc.

naik ke D90 cukup ahh kut.. d300/d700 tu nampak mcm nak gi perang je.. setakat tangkap gambar main2 cukup ahh d90.. i heard d90 low light/noise handling at high iso is superb! can anyone confirm? i ssyg D40 i sbb ini reason la..

Can you do this with your D300? 





p/s - I've never ever used the video mode on mine ... yet. 

picture quality wise, D90 and D300 the same.. kenrockwell review even said that the high iso noise is a bit better on the D90.

- D300 Weather proof body is ONLY useful when used with weather proof lenses (really expensive lenses)
- Price:Performance ratio-D90 wins in this
- D300 useful for wildlife/outdoor photographer..most of these are working professional photographers, so getting expensive weatherproof lenses are easy.

from what kenrockwell reviewed, either get D40, D90 or straight to D700.

how long full movie can shoot eh?? audio not stereo rite?? hehe..

20minutes....enough for family shooting. If u r trying to shoot a whole movie in the cinema...cannot..  If no budget problem...d300 is the way to go!! That tad better in noise control on the d90 isnt really a good thing to decide on which camera u should get. If i have the budget, i want d300!!! Weather sealed...51 af points!!...magnesium body....and 1/8000 sec shutter speed..

but 6fps isnt important to me.

I know D90 has more than D40.. I played it already, around 15... but D300 is 51!!!!

upgraded already to d90..got the ori nikon mb-d80 batt grip and with that it looks somewhat like a d3 la..man it's huge with the batt grip..sold off my d60 , tammy 1750 and cybertik flash

d3 + sb900..hehehe..

or d700 + batt grip + sb900...fuyoh.. tak masuk lens lagi tuh.. put some 70-200VR.. break you neck literally..hehehe..and not to forget, it'll break your bank too..

hey guys. i'm planning to get my 1st tele lens. so between these 2 which one should i get for my d60?

Nikon 55-200mm vr and Tamron AF 70-300mm.

is the vr really worth the extra few hundreds ringgit? my budget is around rm700-1k.
or if you know any other tele lens within that budget please do tell.

oh and also how'd you guys handle non vr tele lens because i heard vr is really important for tele.
