QUOTE(Koki @ May 13 2009, 01:03 AM) actually to reveal the bearing, just open the CM sticker, the one which is not hologram one Ya, I did open up the sticker( the hologram sticker), but the center part which is normally rubber or silicon is completed seal. You cannot force it open using a razor.if u peel it off a little, u can see the bearing already opening the fan is not really recommended unless u know what you're doing Koki, did you manage to open it n remove the blades from the housing? |

today while i go jalan2, bought another 90cfm blue fan + 4pin 12V extension cable...
decided to change the 'additional' boring 1200rpm fan to 2000rpm instead » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « rerouting the cables n tis is the best i can do, can't achieve something like nidzamputra did tho, sad.... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « front view, up and running. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « i was hoping my proc's temp will go down but instead my GC drop 1~2'C... but haven't tested on 100% tho. now can challenge HAF's series? |

QUOTE(WebWalker @ May 12 2009, 03:28 PM) V8 has to be better lah since the price is much expensive than Hyper 212. but there are several heatsinks, which is cheap, but powerful. |

BTW, koki what GC are you using?
And regarding the fan, different fan will have different design. Some will directly expose the bearing after peeling off the sticker, but some will not. |

hmmm?
i'm using the Sapphire Ultimate HD 3870 http://www1.sapphiretech.com/us/products/p...?gpid=217&grp=3 about the fan, u sure it is not exposed? because if it is not, how are u gonna oil it? removing the fins and from the fan itself will void the warranty |

QUOTE(zzzz52 @ May 13 2009, 05:41 PM) BTW, koki what GC are you using? it depends on the fan.And regarding the fan, different fan will have different design. Some will directly expose the bearing after peeling off the sticker, but some will not. for ball and sleeve bearing, pnce you peel off the sticker, you can see the bearing and lubricate it with oil. some coolermaster fans use rifle bearing. until today, i still have no idea where to lubricate it. |
