Nope you wont. As long the sim support BIS.. Most BlackBerry can use in most countries.. PIN is follow your phone not SIM..

"Inactive" means not activated if "Disable" means the BlackBerry is fully locked.. Is your phone under warranty? if yes just go back and claim saying that BIS problem..

Disable means locked?? I thought all entries should be disabled on that screen which means the phone is fully unlocked right? Sorry if I misunderstood what you meant. Thx

Hi again, I would like to clarify.. Coz just now i contacted Celcom and they said when i type MEPD and the network is INACTIVE, means my phone cannot use. it's locked. if only it is DISABLE, then only can use.

1. Go to the menu on your blackberry (just press the button with the symbol of the blackberry)

2. Go to settings

3. Then go to options

4. Choose Advanced options

5. Choose sim card

6. Type MEPD

7. Will be a lot of options, like SIM, Network, Network Subset, Service Provider, and corporate. There will be information, enable or disable

8. If the description show Enable more than disabled, it can be said if your blackberry is still locked by a particular operator

9. If the status is disabled, then you’ve unlocked blackberry

Refer post #147 then you will know it is a lock and unlocked set.. SIM Card is there or not also no problem..

Most of the BlackBerry dosent have receipt because the bought from Telco.. Receipt only provided if they bought AP Set from dealer/shops..

If your vendor is Vodafone then should be lock by them.. Just double check with your previous seller make him/her released the PIN that he/she used before.. If you go yourself to DiGi I worried they might not entertained you. Better go with your previous seller..

All BlackBerry can access to this command unless yours is not! Try again carefully..
