yours same as mine. it's stated inactive, not disabled

Inactive means BIS not activated. Disable means BIS is locked by RIM due to previous owner didnt released the PIN..

Meaning that I can activate BIS since it's stated inactivate and the PIN already released? Yesss

Hi again, Just now i tested my simcard with my gf new BB bold, immediately it detects bis and can use. but when change to my phone back, cannot. why aaa? the one selling the phone to me already called dg and dg said, the pin already released.

Please check your BIS setting inside BBM..or try to switch to 2G and try to connect..

u mean the Host routing table and try to register? There's nothing in the hrt.

Try register again inside HRT..

done. nothing happens.... the edge logo still in small letter.

Inactive means BIS not activated.. I think you need to walk in to your Telco customer service.. There is no other way since HRT you also registered

ya, that's the problem. just now i go to blue cube and they tested on other phone. then, the phone detected bis and edge also in capital letter. but when switch back to my phone cannot edi. they claim that the prob is my phone 1.

"Inactive" means not activated if "Disable" means the BlackBerry is fully locked.. Is your phone under warranty? if yes just go back and claim saying that BIS problem..

ouh... ok, i'll try to contact the person again. coz the person keep telling me that everything's ok when he used it last time.

I dont think he/she has released the PIN on the TELCO before..

Hi, how can i check with the telco that the pin is released or not? Plus, when i tried to register vodafon email manually using web by key in my pin and emei no, vodafon rejects and said that my account is either blocked or deactivated. why is it eh?

There is no way, unless you know the user before. Only he/she can released the PIN with the Telco he/she used before.. Seems like your PIN really being blocked..

So, that's the only problem lah? Coz i called the user and he said digi already released the PIN.
