I went to Times Square this evening. Jalan-jalan. Saw the digi shop. Went there hoping to see the Blackberry. When I asked the counter, they give me funny looking face and said "There's no such thing as Blackberry in Digi"

I dont know why DiGi only offer the blackberry services only to Biz Plan users at the moment. Its not a smart move i think. Not sure now when they will offer this blackberry service to end user.

Is it true that when you buy Blackberry from Celcom and subscribe to BIS plan, you have to get a new Celcom number if you are existing client?

ok fellas here's the details for Digi's offer: RM150 business plan user + RM63 for data unlimited (RM33 - 50% rebate of RM66 data unlimited + RM30 BIS License). Minimum amount for expenditure? RM 213.
Celcom's offer: RM148 (Celcom Power P148 - 3G unlimted )+ RM30 (BIS License) = RM178 Maxis's Offer: RM120 (BIS unlimited) +RM50 (minimum post paid subscription)= RM170 *Please remember that Digi is currently only offering the BIS in klang valley only. P/S: Is there any possbile way to use blackberry connect services (e.g. PUSH email) without using BIS (say for example nokia E71)? Wish the telcos could offer prepaid packages with push email. That would save me from spending extra $$$ a month. |

Not sure whether this question has been asked before but when the telco (Celcom or Maxis) stated in their brochure that :
UNLIMITED DATA ACCESS or DATA UNLIMITED or whatever unlimited Are they still subject to the so-called "fair usage policy" whereby the download still subject to 3GB (maxis) or 5GB (celcom) limit? |

QUOTE(petepix @ Jun 10 2009, 09:08 AM) Thanks! but still find the description of "unlimited" somehow misleading Added on June 10, 2009, 5:32 pmI heard that Maxis allow you to subscribe two sim cards with the same number and you only need to pay additional RM15 for that additional sim card. Is anyone know how the above work? I don't think you can use the two sim cards simultaneously! so what benefit can you get by having two sim cards with the same number? Had u all ever try email from nokia ?? try it with your nokia device at email.nokia.com and follow the simple steps.Celcom's offer: RM148 (Celcom Power P148 - 3G unlimted )+ RM30 (BIS License) = RM178 Maxis's Offer: RM120 (BIS unlimited) +RM50 (minimum post paid subscription)= RM170 *Please remember that Digi is currently only offering the BIS in klang valley only. That would save me from spending extra $$$ a month. I try it before with my E90 but at that time i had my BB service on and its either u off ya bb and use the nokia email or the other way round. Its cheaper solution and can act as a replacement to BIS service. All u need to do is just to sign up unlimited data plan and u are ready to go but this is only for BIS service but if for BES u can try mail for exchange inside your nokia phone. The nokia email is better than BB connect as it can support HTML and can add attachment into your email. A great way to save your money and still have the kinda email service Added on June 23, 2009, 5:51 pm QUOTE(syeong @ Jun 10 2009, 03:17 PM) Thanks! but still find the description of "unlimited" somehow misleading They have 2 type actually.Added on June 10, 2009, 5:32 pmI heard that Maxis allow you to subscribe two sim cards with the same number and you only need to pay additional RM15 for that additional sim card. Multi line 1 sim = 2 numbers in 1 sim (people call any of the number it will go in to your same phone) 2. Multi sim 1 card = 1 number in 2 sim card. ( u can pick which sim to ring when people call and both can call out) Hope that helps This post has been edited by paikut: Jun 23 2009, 05:51 PM |

Paikut, did u use the E90 with the blackberry connect service? If you did, can we just use unlimited data plan and utilize the push email service? So far the only push email service I noticed available are blackberry (BIS or BES) and with exchange service (Microsoft). Do let me know as that would help those of us who wish to save on the monthly cost and wait for the day when there will be an affordable push email service with prepaid

Guys, I'm totally noob here but these stupid question is better to ask before getting the plans...
For Celcom BIS, there 1mb, 5mb and unlimited... my scenario is.... every 1 minute i have 4 emails...and some of them includes attachment. so let's say i'm paying RM148+RM38(BIS)+RMxxx(additional cost for BIS downloads) correct me if i'm wrong as I see RM38 is only available for 1mb, definitely i will need unlimited usage since I'm on MC my emails are coming in.. Guys need help |
