Why not tarc? biggrin.gif Campus like education, although most people stereotype tarc as nothing but low class education, which is certainly wrong.

Cheap, good amenities, nice people, and campus like education. Where to find? Unless u like studying in blocks of buildings only.

although london a-level u can retake but u need pay $$ to retake and to retake they will not gv u study that chapter again...u need study urself!!!!!all ur own,if u manage to get A den means u really put ur effort
cambridge a-level is too stress for me since u need memorise all thing u have learn in 1 and a half year and take the exam @@ but london a-level more like ur degree....study per semester de den take exam and got mark in ur final exam@@ try ur best in each semester until the end @@
i can seee some cambridge a-level only work very hard in their last half years @@

Edexcel refers to London only, I think. It's the name of the Board managing A-Level.
Cambridge is like STPM style, but the exam is splitted into 2. So, it's not that stressed that you fight for one exam using 1.5 years of knowledge like what happen in STPM. It's divided into 1 year then another 0.5 year, less stress lo.

TARC la..
cheap and good. Where to find.
Being cheap doesn't mean low in quality!
And, you will be surprised there's a lot of bright students there.

I done my A levels in TARC
There are good lecturer, which in the case i didn't score well subject taught by them, then another lecturer i hate so much i managed to score an A in the subject..

Well, i dont really TARC environment to study A levels since they will be focusing on their diploma rather, price wise it cannot be matched by anyone.

Nothingham has A levels?

Taylor advertise greatly, their result aint the best.. They just advertise they have how many thousand of As.. that's it. they have a few thousand of student as well

My friend who did A levels in USCi said the lecturer there are quite passionate as well. I guess the location, the fee do pay a more important role than other factors, as it's up to your final effort to score well in an external examination paper.

There is 1 Near KL central which i heard many said having good result, cant recall it's name tho

Well, it really doesn't matter IMHO between London and Cambridge. At least, I think it shouldn't be a matter for you to decide where you should go. Be it HELP or Taylors or TARC, it's really wise if you don't choose one of them over another due to London/Cambridge. I will feel it's quite stupid as the two boards are very similar and probably not significant enough to make a change.

Regarding Taylor's score, I am not very sure because Taylor's seems to be selling off 'how many students got A, 2As, 3As, 4As and 5As' instead of 'how many percent of students got A, 2As, 3As, 4As and 5As' in which I think the latter is more useful in determining the quality of the students.
Let say the percentage for Inti is 30% for 2As (I think is higher actually, btw), so if you target on 2As, then you get into that environment, you just need to make sure you are in the top 30% will do. If a class is 40 in size, then you make sure you are in the top 12. At least you know where you are, how far from Inti's usual score.
Just an example.

I dislike advertisements going by numbers, except for those super high score, like World Top Scorers etc. Because, that kind of thing, you have 1 also very proud already.

It's Methodist College. Although that college may not able to provide you the best facilities compare to other prestigious university colleges, that college seriously can kick their a** off just by their results.

If you want to do law after A-levels, then I will sure recommend you Advanced Tertiary College(ATC) or Brickfields Asia College(BAC), and both of them are arch rivals in that particular industry. I am doing my A-levels in ATC, and its on the Cambridge board. The fee is 9K for 3 subjects. Subjects offered are only Art subjects(Law, Business, Economics, English Literature, Mathematics, Accounting). If Im not mistaken, they have science subjects also. And of course, all Malaysian students are required to do the LAN subjects.

To me, the lecturers are there are good. They are very friendly, helpful and extremely FUNNY, I mean it....It's like watching a stand up comedy during the classes. nod.gif If talking about campus life, well too bad lah, because the campus is situated at Petaling Street and its only a small 7-8 floors building. I can say that its a no frills college. The facilities are sufficient enough for effective learning. The only thing that the college has pride on is their law library which is considered the most completed and well equiped one in Malaysia. The rest cannot.... biggrin.gif

But bear in mind that, ATC and BAC are law schools specializing only in law studies. And ATC is so far considered the best among them due to the high passing rates for both A-levels and LLB, if you don't believe me you can check the newspapers for their ads or by simply doing a little research about them on the net.

however their qualities are still slightly below other colleges.actually art subjects require 90% self study so it is ok.

just my 2cents...most people would actually suggest the college they've been to or are currently studyin at. no one would be able to suggest which one has better A levels. i just finished my A levels in taylors. for me, it was a wonderful experience. lecturers r good even if the lecturer is new. n i read one of the earlier post that classes r large. i disagree as the largest A levels class is only for 1 subject, LAN which isn't really important.
the only difference i know between London Alevels n Cambridge Alevels is that u can retake any paper for any subject in London Alevels. but for Cambridge, if u want to retake a paper u have to retake all papers for that subject u were taking b4. i think cambridge way is better since u will have more motivation to score n not retake. good luck with ur choice
