ask someone w 9150 & have similar gfx, ram to do test (both of you) on frequently used software/games for comparison. sometimes it depends on personal preference, some can live w few fps /seconds slower while some can't. i'm definitely not d latter type... laugh.gif

joke aside, looks like i'm gonna pass in gettin a X2 550BE, not too affordable to me... sad.gif

just recalled something that i encountered b4... @ high clock (cpu clock w high htt), even d ram freq is low, but vdimm need to be high (higher than normal clock + moderate ram freq). doin burn in on my 3800+ now tongue.gif ... no wonder i can't get my pair of twinmos to do 5xx w 1.9Xv coz now even @ 3xx 1.92V is needed... sweat.gif

better not bet too much on d unlockin part, else one will just end up w disappointment if happened failed to hit jackpot. i've seen a 0904 EPMW failed to get unlocked, such a waste coz that's one of d finest batch... it's all down to luck & board (bios). gud thing is manufacturer like asus & gigabyte have come out w "legal" version of acc to unlock core(s) usin "unleashed" & "hybrid acc" feature offered by their own bios. smile.gif

it's not that u don't have luck mate, it's ya board's bios that unable to unlock d 4th core. pop it into jr 790gx thn u'll see it fly... thumbup.gif

we're talkin bout a chip which is potententially hit 3.9GHz here... wink.gif

same case like abg otromen, he got a 0904 chip which can't be unlocked usin his msi board, but on 790gx 128m it's doable.... smile.gif
