tighter trfc gives better stability to my el cheapo ram... strange but true... icon_idea.gif

let me share my pov of these 3 brands:

dfi - pros @ solid bios, great oc potential, cons @ poor chipset/pwm coolin, slightly expensive but not as expensive as asus tongue.gif
asus - pros @ pwm, bios richness, great oc potential, cons @ price as always.
gigabyte - pros @ nice chipset/pwm coolin, a looker, cons @ *cold boot issue (when acc enabled). * for GA-MA790GP-DS4H

i mite be bias, but dfi 790fxb deserve to be there w/ d best like asus m3/4a79. biostar get my vote for < RM400 board, other than weaker pwm, i got no complaint. my 790gxe 128m still kinda buggy in term of bios thou... smile.gif

not that i wanna scare u, but it sounds like mosfet burnt to me. can run normal but streess failed? can u try to run @ stock & stress. if still failed then it's really similar to d case of one of my mate in vrz who burnt his mosfet. d distro gave him a hardtime & he end up keepin d board which is as gud as decor to him now. he purchased a 790gx 128M from me so that i can purchase d new 790gxe. tongue.gif
