i already backup all my data today twice. so what should i do now?

the easiest way.go to option > security >password > change the `number of password attempt` from 10 to 1. Then save.
So at thescreen lock up type any password. So u will type wrong pasword. Once bb detected u not keyin the correct password. After one try bb will reset to factory setting.

my device keep asking me to "move the email account ,need to type the email password"

after i done it, i still didnot receive any email by my BB...
if i restart by BB, then the msg appear again saying "move email acc.....type password"

Hi i am facing a lot of problem with my sis's bb 8520 whom i gifted few mnths ago after upgrading the os version to latest 5.0 but now her battery drains too quickly which makes me think i have have messed up the phone after upgrading the os version which i shudn't have done.

I pretty upgraded the phone by referring a tutorial on a website but i doubt i have made some mistake while upgrading the phone which now ultimately creates pain in my arse. Now even track pad have stopped working and i am not able open various apps and wifi . Previously the media player which was working flawlessly prior to upgrading the phone is now showing some sort of error due to which it is not able to play any media file.

I should admit here that initially the phone had some battery issues when bought however the battery used to last for 5-6 hrs which now lasts not more than 3 yrs. Even after browsing for long hours along with gaming the battery performance was quite good which have recently deteriorated without using the phone either for gaming or browsing. Lastly i googled and found abt gps, wifi and bluetooth facilites which hog up maximum battery if kept on by mistake but being so keen she never keeps them on uneccessarily and she does not use it at all. Even i asked a friend who currently owes bb 9300 and he asked me to reset the phone. Will resetting the phone will solve the problem? But it seems to me risky as i doubt resetting the phone will delete all the data on the phone as i have never resetted the phone b4.

It is always good to be noob rather trying to be an expert. This is what i feel. Any could pls help me solve this problems?

It just says invalid name/password.
When I click register with the BB Pin, it says "your account is not assessible through HTML, please use your device". So i use the BB phone to setup the email account and it works, giving me
xxxx@mobileemail.vodafone.com.my

I tried send email to and from that account and it works. However, I still cannot login through website http://www.mobileemail.vodafone.com.my/
The user name should be the "xxxx" before the @ right?

What is the problem? I need to go to BB web client to change some settings. Is the website for web client correct?

Ahh got it, Celcom careline said BB email does not have webmail interface like yahoo/gmail, everything on the phone only. Change setting also through the phone.

Switch Application on the menu is missing and SMS notification icon is the same as EMAIL notification icon
