his answer "kalau tak ada NO U-TURN sign, boleh u-turn"

so its contradicting now isnt it?
i think they also not sure of the undang.

Dudes....malaysian road law actually states that you can't u-turn unless there is a sign. So the polis has a point there. Next time don't u-turn a road w/o a u-turn sign when there are polis around...they have the right to catch u

I knew it cause I answer on of the question in my Undang exam.

the place i U-turned last night is where i always u turn , a lot of car oso do that ! but i kena this time ....

police : hey, encik , u tau apa salah u?

me : mana ada salah? saya ikut undang undang.

police : u U-turn tadi , u tak boleh u turn sana sebab tak ada sign board !

me : apa~! encik, saya sudah 3tahon tinggal kawasn sini, sudah lebih 100kali saya U turn sini. sekarang encik kata tak boleh u turn?!

police : tak ADA SIGN BOARD CAKAP BOLEH U-TURN !!!

me : nanti sekejap encik, (i make 1 phone call to JPJ HQ, consult one of the high rank officer there he was my friend)

police : apa lu buat, ambil IC saya kena bagi saman.

me : encik pulis , sekarang saya cakap sama JPJ officer. dia kata, xdak U signbord U turn x salah. so, skrang macam mana? encik mau cakap sama dia tak? (and he refuse to talk to this officer because he heard the JPJ officer name i just talk loud)
atau saya ikut you balik balai buat lapuran polis.

police : ...........silent for 5seconds then walk toward his car. came to me.. kamu boleh pergi.



p/s: should keep 1 copy of undang undang booklet just incase they accusing you then you can show them the law.

Think about it, if usually you can make a u-turn at any junction, shouldn't there only be no u-turn signs?

Can U-turn or not? Any proof ?

it depends , depends on whether police is there onot

want to do U turn, first check the incoming traffic, clear then see no police around, faster do U turn.
